I checked and don't think I posted this here:
I picked this hatchet up with a busted blade last summer for a buck, and converted the blade to tent stake pulling duty, so its technically a Hammer now...
One of the claws (cut open extra heavy 3/8 washer, radused off to clear the changing angle) gets the tent stake started out, and the other finishes the job if needed. Otherwise, just tug it up..
The whole thing weighs almost exactly 1 pound so maybe 13-14 oz, for the head. It's clearly lived a hard life, so this is probably a good after retirement job...
Hammer them into the dirt, a few days later, pull them back out. (the stakes are 12 or 10 " spikes with a washer welded about an inch from the head.) I could have used open end wrench ends, or even a couple of rods welded on, but I had the washers...

At first I was wondering what on earth this bike had to do with hammers, then I saw the huge hammer in the pic! Where is that?
