I found a couple unusual hammers at the swap meet. The first one is a stone mason's hammer I'm told but I don't know it's use or even if that is correct information. The end pieces are inserts that fit in slots about 1 inch deep in the ends of the hammer. I liked the shape. There are no makers on this one though which seems odd for such a nicely sculpted hammer.
The 2nd one is a one sided body hammer that I originally though may have been sculpted from a slice of rail track. However after comparing it to some track I doubt it. It's hand made though and not too uniform at the mid to back section. I polished it up some and it's ready to join the herd.
