Need some kind of light control that uses a small remote .. not line of site.
My new build is a converted church -- so the living room ceiling is over 30' tall. I'm creating a seating area (two chairs and a table) in front of the main gothic window under the steeple. There will be a light hanging from a long rod over the table. I had electric run to the steeple and my plan was to connect the light to some control up there that would work the light from a control that would stay on the table.
I tried one of the older Lutron IR controls .. but it too far. Have a simple wireless one button on/off control that I use in a few places in my NYC loft .... they work ... but they do not dim. They are the kind you plug in ... often used for
lights.
I can't put anything (like a typical dimmer) in the wall as the front of the building is exposed stone and the nearest plaster wall is far away.
