This is how mine came:

You can get it into a minivan if you broke it down. Just be sure you've got a few hands for loading and unloading.
I took mine in a Chevy Astro Van with the middle seats removed. They brought it out on a lift cart. After checking the height they flipped it upside down, removed the wood crate and the cardboard lid off the bottom. Lifting it to the right height they slid it into the van upside down on it's top lid. When I got home I slid it out until the edge was lowered to the sidewalk next to the van, then with it far enough out, I rotated the top (Which is of course, the bottom) over until it was resting on its end on the walk. Then I just flipped it over onto its wheels and wheeled it up the walk. I used the same rotation method to get it up my 2 front steps, onto the porch, another step into the vestibule and another step into the living room. Now on its wheels again I removed the top lid and cardboard sides including the thin foam panels that surrounded it. The heavy cardboard lid and foam panels protected it every step of the way as long as I didn't drop it. 1 man job.
