I REALLY like that.
I got one wall of my tool cabinets all put together and height adjusted. On top of this will be a full length countertop.

Here is a shot of the feet. Notice that I welded on a 2" square piece of tubing to the bottom of the cabinet. I did this as I wanted more height.

And last, I took all of the guts out of my lift control box and have them mounted behind and in the cabinet under the air conditioner. I have purchased a four button "crane hoist pendant control" (wired remote control) that I will wire up via a long coiled cord to control the lift.

I am waiting on HF to get in more of the tool cabinets to complete the opposite wall. Hopefully they will come in this wee so that I can get the countertops ordered.

The countertops will sit on top of the raised edges of the boxes. With a thickness of 1.5", that makes the work height very tall. The adjustable height feet allow me to lower the boxes 2" from the original height. That plus .5" for the raised edge and 1.5" for the countertop will put the work top at the same height as it started with casters.Just wondering why we are using the feet instead of just locking the rollers and attaching the countertop to the wall and cabinets?
When I got a rain check for three more last week the clerk at my HF said I was selling them for a profit.
My mcmaster feet have a 5/8" bolt which is MUCH bigger than the metric threaded holes. I don't know what thread size the holes are but they are drilled through a single piece of angle and I wanted the load spread out across both angled supports.Does the mcmaster part number you used (62805k43) fit the thread pattern already on the box? Being vertically challenged and not having a welder I think I would be fine with it being a bit lower - 36" or so? Thanks
And you will never run out of drawer space.
Looks very nice, Paul. Please post again after you have the counter installed. It looks even better than I imagined. I was considering putting the 7 drawer side boxes between each unit, but I like the way yours looks better.

I am now thinking of getting one more 7 drawer to complete mine.

anyone actually use these?
ha. i had mine for 2 years of 3-4 hour weekday and weekend use.
the struts on the top box lid went out within a year,
the top drawer in the bottom box sagged from the weight after a year it rubbed the frame.
whatever keeps the drawers " clicked shut" failed within a year also on 2 drawers.
and do not spill any thing remotely close to a chemical on those cheap rubber mats.
i junked it and bought a 8 year old snap on box that operates flawlessly with twice the weight in it.
its a good bang for the buck for very light duty use, anything more than that its junk.
