Thinking about getting this. I know it used to be $59 pre-covid but I guess those days are over. Opinions??
I will tell you that the single roller wheel at the front *****. Mine gets used very little and that flintstone style wheel is locked up.

I'm kicking myself in the *** for forgetting to go grab that 9500# winch on Wednesday. I need one, and my friend needed one.

Dang.

I bought their older 9000# winch 5-6 years ago for something like $219 or $229 with a coupon.

They have the no exclusions 20% for the weekend for inside track members. Does anyone know if this works with the HF cc + 10% off new signup? I’ve been itching for an Icon box, and 30% off is a pretty good deal.

The 20%+10% would be pretty slick but you're going to have to try in the store as the fine print states the 20% is IN STORE ONLY. I'm going to check out the Series 3 or ICON boxes today. When I use the HF cc I think my deal will be 20% + 5% from the cc

Out of morbid curiosity, could one use the 20% off track club discount on something that is already has a discounted track club price? The full bank tool carts are $499 for members, so it'd be close to $400 if you can. Even better deal if you can open the card too f or another 10%. Feel like that might be worth the credit score hit and the club membership to save around 40%...

I opened a new HF credit card last year for the 10% bonus on the first purchase on top of the special ITC price on a big ticket item. But ymmv as the CC is a separate promo.

I did the same. Bought a 56” tool chest for 20% off plus 10% cc offer. Came out to $620 ( no sales tax in Delaware)

The cc discount is probably applied once you pay, it’s a separate program if I were to guess. You can’t stack the coupon on top of an ITC discount though.

Yea, I didn’t demand anything. I just paid with the new card and then paid the 620 balance on the card. I haven’t used it since.
I did the same thing at Home Depot and Lowe’s for some large purchases. Open card, get the discount, pay off card.

Nice deal! Ordered the Slate Gray 56” Series 3 today minus 20%. My old HF card rewards 5% makes it less painful but when it arrives it will be all smiles

Wish I had noticed this deal sooner since I bought a few of the tools listed like the cordless bandsaw and the 14 gauge metal sheers, but there is still time for anyone wanting to get in since the deal is on till the end of the year. In store only, cannot be combined with other promotions.

Buy (2) 5ah Hercules batteries and get a tool valued at $139.99 or less. Example: that would make an item like the Hercules cordless bandsaw $!49.98 or the same price for the Hercules cordless grease gun.

I picked one up to mount to my car trailer, it was way heavier than I expected when I picked the box up

I bought the 42”, but really should have ordered the 56”. Not enough room for my second box. Can also say that the series 3 looks like **** next to the series 2.

Go in and talk to the manager, get a raincheck for an item you want and when they come in they let you know.

I did, was told they don’t do rain check or anything of sort. Didn’t even offer me the info when the next shipment is scheduled, just say you know the website check and call before you come over…. Disappointed twice. It’s ok will just get it from some where else or something else.

No rain checks?…… Don’t believe it!
I went to HF last night to buy a dolly that they had on sale for one day only and there weren’t any to be found so I asked the cashier and he said: "No Rain Checks" so I asked to see the manager and he said the same thing but after telling him about "the facts of life of a dissatisfied customer" for about 2 minutes he reluctantly gave me a rain check providing that I don’t tell a friend.

The rain check has been edited to protect the store and the manager.

Which nj one you got it from?

definitely not the Brooklyn one, that was supposedly the “manager” that told me so…

Apparently rain checks are a law. I realize it's hard to get enforced but...

Understanding Rain Checks

KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • A rain check is a promise a seller makes to a buyer that an out of stock item can be purchased at a later date for the current day's sale price.
  • Retailers are not obliged to issue rain checks if they clearly state supplies are limited or only available at select locations.
  • The FTC's Unavailability Rule entitles consumers to receive rain checks, substitute items of equal value, or alternative compensation equal to the advertised items or discount.

What Happens If You Don't Get a Rain Check?

If the store you go to does not give you a rain check, you should first check to see if the sale item has limitations. If the store states "No Rain Checks" or that the quantity is limited, it isn't obligated to issue you a rain check. If there is no stipulation and you can't get a rain check, you can file a complaint with the FTC—especially in cases where the retailer keeps running out of stock on advertised specials. You can also complain to your state consumer protection agency or the state attorney general.

Harbor Freight did not state that items were limited. Only that the coupons were valid in store and in stock items. This does not suggest a limitation exactly since their in stock at the store inventory is not truly known. I have travelled to a store only to find the inventory is wrong or the store can't find the product even though they show inventory. In all cases I was given a rain check when I asked for one. Not that I wish to suggest a loop hole but I have gone to HF with the unicorn 25% off anything, didn't find the thing I wanted, got a rain check for the out of stock item and then bought something else with the coupon.

I'm not a lawyer so YMMV. My experience with HF, with a few exceptions, has been very good.

I will also add that since we knew which items would be on sale and when, that those who wanted it bought it in advance and then on the day of the sale asked for an adjustment. That's a winning strategy to not miss out.

Does anyone know or can confirm if they discontinued the 2 year ITC membership vs the 1 year? Last time I checked the 2 year was cheaper on an annual basis vs the 1 year, but now I am not seeing the option as I approach my membership expiration. I miss the good old days before this ITC thing almost became mandatory. The system always causes issues between coupons and ITC membership deals.

They offered me a two year when I renewed in August.

When I renewed Apr. 30, 2023 only 1 year renewal was available and no $10 gift card included.

Unless another "big ticket" item of interest makes signing up for the ITC membership next year, I'm may skip the renewal. So far every "big" ITC members deal I purchased this year cost more than the next set of super coupons or 20% OFF no exclusion specials.
