I impulsively bought one for $12 on Black Friday but promptly took it back after opening it. I didn't realize there wouldn't be any drawer slides at all. Its just metal rails sliding on the box frame. They felt so janky every time I opened it. I know its only $12, but the USG box has proper slides.

Thanks for that. I've been thinking about a winch for my trailers and shop. While the 12k is attractive, that's just too bulky to move around and is unnecessary for the things I'm pulling; the 5000lb synthetic should do just fine.

Had to hunt to find ANY employee, no one at registers, no one on floor. Not a soul
Eventually, a guy came out of the back, told him I wanted the 6.5, he called the manager to watch front while he got it. She came out of office, said, " Don't forget your free bucket".
Have NEVER seen the store empty, was almost surreal.

Kinda expected a line but I got there at 8:15. They only sold one Black that was in stock before I got there. Only other avail in store today was the blue one on display as you walked in.

I got mine for a tick under that this summer, but that was using the Inside Track Club coupon, and some other promotions. That's definitely the best genpop price I've ever seen.
The guys at HF, said they are already anticipating a big rush on the 56" top chest, next % off or sale.
I did also, in red, tonight before close actually. Guy said they sold like hotcakes today and it sounds like many wanted to cash and carry. I have no problem waiting and would have been unable to pick up today anyway. (Only had blue display). My home box is full. Have been looking for something decent used, nothing too reasonable local lately. I think I've seen the older version sell for same price? Definitely competitive $$ locally compared to Menards, HD, and local fleet stores. I checked.
