I've decided that new cars and trucks are severely overpriced junk, so went the other direction and picked up a zero-rust '77 C20 squarebody.

Carb needs rebuilt and the rebuild kit is on the way, but would really like to pick up HF's ultrasonic cleaner. Does anyone have a good coupon they aren't going to use?

I bought the VEVOR 4gal one (or close to that in size) and it was marginally more expensive than the Harbor Freight version.

It was one of these:

I'm not home right now, so I can't confirm. You can fit quite a bit into these. If you need to do small stuff, fill a jar with cleaner and then put your stuff in the jar with a lid. Then fill the basin with water and it will still clean, but you won't have to use 4gal of cleaner. I did a Willys carb and some other greasy parts. You can control the heat and how long the ultrasonic vibrations go. They're LOUD, so do it in the garage or outside.

I see you're in WA. Which part? Most stuff here doesn't rust out unless its been abused, so a good start!

not a great deal like I hoped for.
Damn, I thought it was good enough to go in and grab a few more sets I didn't have: both S-curves, both angled, the metric double box end double flex head ratcheting, both stubby flex head ratcheting, and both large reversible ratcheing. lol

You had to buy 4 sets to get 40%, it would of been better to have 35% on any Icon set. And it seemed that way because all 4 stores near me are still fully stocked with all sets. So it didn't go over well around Southern CA from what I can tell.
The Spring Black Friday pliers sale looks like it will go over big though.

Sounds like ********.

Last time I checked the word "ALL" still meant all of them, as in every single damn one they make and sell.

Wire strippers come in the form of pliers. They follow both form factor and function/definition of pliers.

Thanks for nothing. I'm going to have to buy that high reach, low profile jack. Apparently it sits 2" lower than my current HB 3 ton (which has to be 20 years old) and it goes higher....and they have orange?

Might be you got lucky to have gotten one wire stripper at a discount. I don't see any listed under this promotion.

When you look up pliers on their site it shows you the 7in strippers.

I have had a lot of problems lately at Harbor Freight, today was no exception, They tried to fight me on multiple item s saying they were not on sale. I was Buying mainly all of the pliers and they also did not discount the one electrical plier. Which I didn't know tell I left. Doyle was also on the 35% and they are discounted. I noticed from Friday and Sunday night things changed, One plier went up $1.50 I think, and they moved things around on the website but its just been a hassle the last few months.
I might take them back, I've cooled down a little with the other poor service they did today.
I don't think you can ever get ahold of anybody from corporate that will do anything anyway.

i'm a ITC member and bought a 11,500 inverter generator back in dec. Since then, I dont see anymore coupon emails. If it wouldnt have been for GJ i wouldn't even now this sale was going on. I went in there today and grabbed 2 of the go jack knock offs. I wanted them for tire changes , i just cant lift the larger wheels anyomre trying to bounce them on the studs. Anyway i go to check out and the checker asks if i am receiving their promotions and i said No, and thats a problem since I paid for the membership. He basically ignored me on that issue and stoped at every item to ask about the warrenty for each one, and i replied no to each one. On the jack he stopped checking out the second one and i couldnt fiqure out why. He was waiting on me to reply on the warrenty again. I dont know were they are digging up the help these days or pulling out from under rocks. Most likley the end of my ITC member ship now unless i see a need for it down the road. I even have even trying to go back in a resigning up for emails but no joy. When you actually want them , you just can't get em.
