Didn't see any of those older style jacks on clearance last time I was in. I'm hoping they will run those $50 coupons sometime on the new models. I use to see the coupons for the aluminum jacks for $60 in the back of car magazines.

call all the stores asking them if they have any clearance floor jacks left

you will probably find that they have them, just not on display anymore.. my store doesnt.. but we have piles of them in the back..

All of ours went out on the last parking lot sale. We didn't put out the new one until we were almost out of the clearence jacks.

I used the $99 coupon yesterday for the 4 drawer tool cart, its very nice. Just before I got to the store, someone bought out all of the red 5 drawer boxes in stock! So I wasent able to compare, but this one swallowed up all of my tools.

I picked it up aswell using the coupon and like it

Ive got my April flyer and there is a;

"Take an extra 20% off" Any purchase of $100 or more

Coupon on the first sheet.

Now my question is; since it says take an "Extra" 20% off is this on top of the 20% off coupon we usually use? or its just like using the regular old 20% off coupon?

What kind of verbage does it have? It's probably the same as the regular old 20% off one item I would imagine. Even if it wasn't I'm sure they would refer to the disclaimer up front that you couldn't use both.

That 20% can not be used with any coupons, just retail and monthly sales prices.

For you Harbor Freight guys; so with this coupon you have to spend at least a 100 dollars to get the 20% and the other coupon you just get the 20% no matter how much you spend ...is this where HF is going, will they phase into, you have to spend a $100 to get the 20%? or just another marketing ploy

and yep.. cant use it with any other coupons, believe me, i've pissed off a few customers when a cashier calls for me or one of the other managers to come to the front about these and i tell them that they're wrong and the fine print clearly (while small) states that it cant be used with other coupons or discounts, along with not being valid on toolboxes compressors, welders, generators, gas engines, floor jacks etc....

obviously i dont say it rudely but im blunt about it...

even though i dont agree with the policy 100% i stand behind it... cause i have to in the position im in..

So I'm assuming we'll never be able to take 20% off the compressors. Even if its 20% off $300 (just a hypothetical situation) They're starting to look more and more attractive everyday. The General belt drives.

wont work... cant use any kind of discount on a compressor unless its a coupon specifically for that compressor...

Finally made it to the Chico CA store and picked up my 5 drawer service cart using my 20% coupon, (thank you to all the guys help make it possible at that store) for $159.00 it is sure built well and is heavy duty. It really doesnt make much difference but mine is Gloss Red, and I was for some reason expecting a flat red like the tool box.
While there I picked up the Red Roller Cabinet top chest, I like it .

After the phone calls everyone at the Chico store were great, more than happy to help with the coupons and loading the boxes

I get to HF and ask a rep who said it was fine to use, only to get to the front with the item and the cashier to whip out a sign that was tucked away that says no coupon can be used for tool chests... Put a damper on my day for sure.

They have had those signs out for many months now stating what the 20% off coupons are not allowed to be used for. Even older coupons where it is not printed specifically, the store policy has been out for a while now.

Yes, print them big enough to read the code number under the barcode. Even of the bar code doesn't scan, they input the code number.

i noticed in the latest coupons that the free gift is with any purchase now, it had been with a dollar amount before. not quite as good as awhile back when they said no purchase necessary, though....
