Looking for the 41" top cabinet, what is the best price you've seen?

I bought one Dec-Jan for $249. Don't remember where the coupon came from.
I ended up returning it, for the extra $100 got another bottom roller cabinet, much more room. Nothing wrong with it but in my basement it was too high.

If anyone is "computer challenged", feel free to scan in your sale flyer(s) and email them to me in whatever format is easiest for you (jpg or photo formats preferred). I am pretty handy with computers, so I can do the conversions and post them back up here in an easy to read/download format for all to use. I think that's probably easier then having to PM people and email, etc.

The most important thing is to scan them at a fairly high resolution. The problem I have been having lately is that the uploaded flyers are not at a high enough resolution to see the coupon code number, much less the barcode to scan. I have found that most cashiers will manually enter the coupon code if you just show it to them on your smartphone or tablet, as long as they can read the number and key it in. I for one find that very convenient.

Without getting into a technical discussion, there are ways to reduce the file size of pictures without reducing their quality. I have it set so you can email me directly through the forum, and my email address has no file size limits. So email me your large scans and I will be happy to compress them down and post here for all to use. Especially on those sale flyers from certain magazines that seem to have all the best deals.

those that are "computer challenged" may find scanning sales flyers at high resolution and understanding the concept of jpg or photo format a "challenge".... :D

Does anyone know of a current magazine that has a coupon for the 56" box? I've been looking, but am coming up short. :(

HF always has a one or two page coupon spread in the Mustang magazines (5.0 Mustangs, etc) I have seen the 56" at 699 as I recall but it may have been a couple months ago.

I went through about 20 magazines today. If anyone knows where there is a $699 coupon for that 56 inch box please share.

I too went through a bunch more magazines today. Plenty of tool cart ones, but zero tool box ones.

I did find a $69 one for the 1/2 Earthquake impact! It was in one of the diesel mags.

That one was in several mags. Too bad I paid $75.

Local HF had a 25% off coupon good on Easter Sunday only.

It was posted at the door and loose ones were stacked on the checkout counter.

So I was at harbor freight yesterday with my coupons and bought a bunch of **** I probably didn't need...

I bought another one of the cheap aluminum jacks because they are so handy. I need a jack that lifts the car higher though. I was thinking of getting the next size up in the assortment. I have a craftsman half aluminum half steel jack that leaks every time I use it, and despite replacing the o-rings twice it just won't stop. So I want to retire it and get a replacement.

Is the jack worth $170? Are there any better coupons I should wait for?

The $60 jack doesn't get the car high enough to slide in the jack stands.

I got in on the most recent $699 coupon for the 56" roller. It expired 3/15/12 and I'm not sure when the next one is due out. Keep checking the magazines though. I anticipate they will have another one coming soon. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you guys who want it.

Hey mpire! Nice to see a familiar person here....

Do you have a Costco near by? If so, get the $100 Arcan low profile 3.25ton floor jack. it's heavy, so not good for something you want to haul around a lot, but for rolling around the garage floor, it's great.

I just talked to the GM of the local Harbor Freight. He said he would price match the $699 but would have to do it with a raincheck. They are sold out. You may want to ask.

The coupon was in the January Hot Rod.

ok so it's the 56" floor model that's $599 for me, but the catch is it's missing the keys, and the drawers on the right hand side are locked.

does anyone know how easy it is to replace the locks? is that something i can buy? anyone have any experience with this?

thanks

very much appreciated. just in case they turn me down, do you possibly know where i can get an original? i have heard they come in auto magazines and similar, is that where this came from? not that i expect problems, last time i was there they took a coupon code i had scribbled on a printout of like 5 other coupons, no questions asked.

thanks again
