I've been waiting for a coupon for the top box for a while. There hasn't been one printed in some time. Believe me, several have been looking for it.

That info is usually right on the coupon. Mostly one coupon per purchase no stacking or combining coupons.
The way I do it is to make several trips into the store, buy a .99 cent paintbrush, use a coupon. Never had an issue that way. And having extra paintbrushes around is a plus. I just toss them after each use.
Hint: Park as close to the front door as possible (if you're old like me). LOL!
This was the last Q I had for it that has expired. Hopefully another one will be out soon.

They have three different ones. And with no coupon, the prices on each are already lowered. I'd use the percent off coupon to get a further discount.

Which periodicals have the 20% and 25% off coupons? I tried using printed versions but was denied at the Lowes and Home Depot nearest to my local Harbor Freight.

I think it's either $59.99 or $69.99. I got my coupon out of the "Progressive Farmer" magazine. They often have items that I do not see in any other magazine (farm jack, water pumps, lots of tarps), but I have seen the EQ impact in many car mags, let me dig around.

Go to Walmart and look at the men's interest magazines- ANY car mag, The Family Handyman, Popular Mechanics, Readers Digest- usually the Sunday paper will even have it.

I would highly recommend you get one of their MIG welders and not this flux wire one, you'll be so much happier in the long run for only a little more cash. BTW their 180 is definitely the better model over the 170 but is quite a jump in price. If you are new to welding you might try the 170 but the 180 is just hands down a better machine.
I'll see if I have a coupon for the flux welder. The best price should be either 89 or 99.
The nicer welders are, well nicer but if you're learning to weld, the flux is plenty to tinker with without the expense of gas. If I were to get a nicer welder, I would look at the 170 & 180 but for that money, probably look for a used major brand.

20% will get it down to $200. 25% down to even less.
Are saws an exclusion on the 20% coupons now?

My wife and I shop at Khols Dept Store and get these "take an extra 30%" coupons in the mail from time to time and they actually mean EXTRA where we get the coupon on top of the sale prices. I don't know what HF is pulling but the fine print says that ain't so with them. So my question to HF would be "Extra in relationship to what?"

I've never had a problem using % off coupons on sale items at HF. YMMV depending on the cashier and manager though.

My issue isn't with the coupons in general, it's with combining this "EXTRA 20% Off" coupon with the existing sale. While it says "EXTRA" on the coupon, the fine print says "may not be combined". That's where I have a problem. To me "EXTRA" means in addition to any existing discount. You know, like when you order a pizza with EXTRA cheese. Or a BLT sandwich with EXTRA bacon. I'll give it a shot when I go up there today and post the results. We'll see.

Just got back from HF and they took the coupon Even though it said "not to be combined..." and the cashier couldn't scan the barcode and had to key in the first several digits to look it up, she took it and it went through their system. Yea!

I've never had a problem combining either an item specific coupon or a 20% off with an existing sale price via scan.

The way it works is that you cannot take an extra 20 or 25% off a coupon price. You can take it off a sale price (assuming the item isn't excluded).
