I saw a banner at my local HF today that said they were having a Parking Lot Sale from 08/23-08/25. I asked the manager if the 13 Drawer Roller Cabinet was going to be on sale and he said only Inside Track members would be notified if it was. Has anyone that has a IT membership seen if it will be on sale?

FYI, it is on sale now, with coupon at least. $359. I picked one up on Friday, very nice for the price but bring a friend and a truck! Heavy...

This worth the $$?

I used to have the trailer, suited my needs, hauling a 5-600# four wheeler, brush, dirtbike, etc. It's a little flimsy when bolted together, adding a 3/4" piece of plywood to the top stiffens it. If you have the ability, I'd grind the intersections of the beams and weld it, then paint it - would make it a more rigid trailer, but I had no issues with it bolted together.

I'm with St. Cloud. I bought mine used off a guy who had already welded it together and threw 3/4 inch ply on it. Does everything I need it to do. However unloaded mind bounces a lot. If its loaded does real well but unloaded is kind of a pain.

Never got the parking lot sale coupons in the mail this month. Usually get those with my IT membership ads.

I've found the best combo is to take several ads- ITC, monthly coupons, and several car / home improvement magazines. The same item can be many different prices, and the ITC price isn't always the best. Often it's the magazine that has the best price. It also reliably has the 20% off coupon.

The 20% coupon can be used on any on sale item that does not have require a coupon (excluding the usual tool storage, jacks, and that trencher that nobody has ever bought)

Hi all,
I'm looking for a coupon for the 60 Piece Alloy Steel SAE/Metric Tap and Die Set (Item #: 35407).

60-pc-tap-and-die-set-300x218.jpg

Thanks!

I picked one of these up a couple weeks ago, just a warning that it is almost completely useless. I really only needed one of the M8 dies, and I managed to chase two already formed threads with it before it started breaking teeth.

I've used my set dozens of times across at least 1/3 of the sizes.

Try lube.

anyone buy this?

Nope - but I have played with solar a while back. For that price you can have a lot of fun. That charge controller cannot be set for the chemistry of the battery you want to use, but this isn't meant to be a permanently installed system either.

If you want to run any 120V devices, you'll need an inverter.

Note - 45 Watts is the max on a clear, cloudless sunny day.

I've had really good luck with mine. Use it weekly for the past year.

The HF tap & die sets are just about good enough to use for cleaning already cut threads with minor blemishes - say getting the grass out of your lawnmower blade nut. And that is only with liberal application of cutting oil. Any major damage, rust, or weld spatter will destroy the teeth in short order. And forget about cutting new threads.

But you can buy just the quality replacements for the units that break. The others can just sit there.

Anyone have a coupon for the 10amp/120v Demolition hammer #68148? I have a coupon but its only for $50 off, I'm sure there is a better one out there. Also will the store take the 25% off coupon if you cant read the fine print? I was going to use the one above but the print is blurry.

Just look back a few pages for 25% off coupons that might show better.
One in the Hot deals forum also.

$50.00 off is the lowest I have for the hammer.

Just back from HF.
They are getting cheap.
Can't even offer a 25% off for Labor Day.

Typically they only take one super coupon. If the $50 off is more than 20% of their list or in store sale price I would use that one. Usually the in store sale price is not as low as the coupon price is.

I thought I saw somewhere that they were gonna have the black 5 drawer cart on sale for something like $109.00. ? Any idea if that's the case?
:dunno::dunno:

I just got one 2 weeks ago for that with a direct mail coupon that I found in a booklet that someone left laying in the store. I love it:

Just there.
Bought a paint brush and tape measure for 41 cents total after coupons.

Parking lot sale was lame.
Most stuff could be had for the same price or less with coupons.
It appears HF takes advantage of the "herd" mentality to make some major bucks with these "sales".

hmm. now i see the 44 inch box is on sale also..:eyecrazy:
$359.00, no coupon needed.
