I'd like to get one of those 12-speed drill presses from HF. Anybody have the $99 coupon that expires 5/18/2014? It's for for the 10 In. Bench Mount Drill Press, 12 Speed - Item #60237. What coupon do YOU need? :3gears:
Thanks!

This may be a retarded question, but do I just print these out and give it to them at the cash register? Or do I give them a code?

I picked up multiple things today. All I did was pull up this thread click on the coupons that all you great gents have uploaded, handed her the phone and told her to scroll left for each one! Lol

Those 1.5T AL jacks are SCARY! I highly doubt they are really rated to 1.5T because they have a hard time lifting a damn honda civic. I once used one on a crown vic to change a tire on the front and had to force the handle down with my 200lb fat ***. I have a really cheap mack branded jack thats 2T and its better.

Also be aware that the bolts that hold the caster wheels on those racing jacks like to loosen up.

Well.... which one are you talking about? There's a difference between the regular and RapidPump jacks. They have different leverage-ratios with the hydraulics.

Basic physics in leverage and changing the fulcrum will get you different amounts of leverage. The standard-jacks have the leverage set to require about 10-15 pumps to lift a standard car. If you're pushing down with 200lbs X 15 pumps, you've generated 200x15=3000lbs of force. Multiply that by the stroke-length and you have work. Divide out by the time for each stroke and you have power.

Now, the RapidPump jacks have leverage-ratios set to lift my car in just 5 pumps. To generate the same amount of lifting force as the other pump, 3000lbs, the human needs to apply 3000/5=600lbs or 3x as much force as the other one using the regular jack.

Just because a jack has different leverage-ratios doesn't make it inferior in any way. The same exact jack with same frame and wheels would have the exact same load-capacity. For example, the #68783 & #69468 trolley-jacks have higher leverage and require more pumps at lower force to lift the same amount. But, you can see the frames twisting and bending under the load. And they're rated for 2-tonnes!!! I wouldn't trust those trolley-jacks at the same 1.5-tonne load as the aluminium racing jacks with RapidPump.

That's actually why I bought them, I go to the track about once a month and like to change out tyres and brake-pads; sometimes multiple times a day. Having the low 3" front-end of these jacks is really handy in getting under a racecar. And being able to lift the entire front or back end in just 3-5 pumps is a real time-saver. :)

If it's too difficult for you to use a RapidPump jack, replace the outer removable-handle with a longer piece. Instead of 18" or so, get a 4-foot pipe and use that. Or just stick the longer pipe into the outer handle. The resultant longer handle will give you more leverage and lower the force needed for each pump.

Does anyone know if you can use the 25% off coupon on service carts? I am considering getting one to store my detailing equipment. This is the one I was looking at, but am going back and forth between the 3 shelf one without a drawer.

For detailing equipment and fluids I would suggest the polypropylene cart, which won't rust and is a really sturdy cart. Plus the 25% coupon works on this one to make it $66.75

Thanks I'll have to look for this one. They all look pretty chappy in the store, but are half **** put together. I wonder how many 5 gal buckets I can fit on the bottom shelf.

Typical 5gal bucket is what 12" diameter? So I'd say two in that 16x30 space. Perfect for the 2 bucket system, though I'd stack buckets if you just have empty buckets for washing, and leave the room beside that open for other items....This has me wanting to buy that cart for the same purpose, would be very easy to hang brushes etc from the handle to drip dry. Dang, and I just picked up one of the 30" Gladiator cabinets for $99 to hold all my detailing stuff.

HF also has a bigger poly cart, 24" x 36" for $97.49 after coupon
http://www.harborfreight.com/24-in-x-36-intwo-shelf-industrial-polypropylene-service-cart-69444.html

This bigger cart seems too unwieldy to me in person - it's just too wide. Whenever I stop by HF and see the smaller cart I consider buying one for all of my jugs of cleaners, buckets, plastic bins of MF towels, DA polisher, pads and squirt bottles. But then my wife would see how much detailing stuff I have accumulated and I would be in even bigger trouble...

Yes. You just can't stack 20/25% off coupon on top of an item-specific coupon. But if the item is on sale without a coupon, then you can use a 20/25% off coupon.

Anyone know if HF will accept/scan coupons in a HF email that you pull up on your smartphone? Trying to save the hassle of printing these coupons off.

cool, the 25% off makes it $67.50, don't think it'll be cheaper then that

Just curious if anybody has noticed this..

I just saved the 20% off coupon I received in an email from HF. I sent the picture to my work email so I could print it. When I pulled up the coupon to print it, the bar codes on the bottom were gone.

What the heck..lol

Here's the Memorial Day coupon set I got via email. I find that the coupons I get in the mail are generally better than the email ones. Not sure why that is. But hopefully these will be of benefit to someone. Sorry the scissors coupon from the front page got split to the second page. If you need this pm me and I'll see if I can get a better copy.

I have several Free with No Purchase Required coupons, can I get all those items in one visit or do I only get one free item per visit/day?

Example: Free gloves, work light, rope and headlamp.... can I get all 4 in one visit?

I'm sure this has been covered many times in the past, but maybe folks could use a friendly reminder...

Thanks!

Anybody have a coupon for the 6ton jack strands? Or go the 25% off route?

I saw a coupon for these recently for $29.99 in an ad in the back of a car magazine, but unfortunately I can't remember what magazine ad it was from (I saw it while browsing at Barned and Noble last week). That would be $7.50 less than using a 25% coupon if you can find it. Good luck
