Thanks guys. I'm going to try and have them honor the expired coupon since there was none in stock. I'll let you know how I make out.

Well, they honored the $279 coupon. I tried to get an extra 20% off by becoming an ITC member, no dice. When the assistant mgr. loaded the top in my truck I noticed the top of the cardboard box had a tear in it. Upon further inspection I noticed a small dimple in the top. He said he could discount if to $240, no lower. He seemed to have a bit of an attitude for some reason. I go back to the cashier to settle up and she takes 20% off the 279! Total was $223 plus tax. :D

I have been looking for one of these for a few months now - there was a $109 that expired at the end of 2013 but since then I have only found one coupon for 68050 and it was for $129, which is the regular price so it was no help. If you end up finding something please post it.

Is there a database of all the common coupon/sale prices of the myriad of items sold at HF?

That's an awesome price...

I was able to pull the same ITC member discount when I bought the bottom a few weeks ago

I've been waiting for the 44" top to be in stock at my local HF. They'll have them tomorrow but the only $279 coupon I can find expires today! Anyone have a valid coupon code? Item 68787 or 69398.

Thanks.

Too late now, but next time just ask for a rain check on the item. Also, get to know the manager at your store and they'll be a lot more likely to help you out. The managers are incentivized to reach sales goals, so if you are a 'regular' they will will alert you to upcoming sales, etc. Mine is VERY helpful, but I've heard that some of them are turds. YMMV...

There's a super coupon for a heavy duty 3 ton floor jack for $82.99.

Coupon # is 52852239, and it's for items 61282, 68049, 60688, 61253, and 62326.

Also the 5 drawer US General tool cart (Red Cart) is on sale via "Gold" coupon for $167.89. Coupon #56733901.

I also recently got a couple mailers with 20% off coupons:

51529369, 14538496, (both expire 10/20) and 43099407 (expires 8/23).

Here's a little special trick:

There is a drill set coupon for $10 with 2 item #s. It has the wrong item # on it. It is $20 near me but other places it is $32. I used that coupon AND a 25% off coupon.

Drill set = $32 value
Coupon = $10
25% off = $7.50
TOTAL: $7.50 and tax

Just got a mailer today with new freebie items. Torque wrench is one; 1500 watt heat gun is another.

I don't see why not. They are different coupons for different things. The coupon does say "cannot be used with other discount, coupon or prior purchase." But I think that only applies to coupons for the same item. That said I don't work for HF so my opinion on the subject isn't worth anything. I'd say give it a go.

I think $190 is the best you can do...the locker style $180.

I was gonna get a set of the 68785's to go with my bottom and top 44's but I changed my mind. Got a 5 drawer cart and I'll get another 44" bottom and sell my top.

Those side cabs are expensive for what they are. No way two side cabs should cost the same as the 44" box, but those accessories are where I'm guessing they make the bulk of their profit. Same goes for the top chest.

1. You didn't show a coupon or even give an item number. That makes the tip about a wrong item number on the coupon useless to every single person here. How is anyone supposed to replicate the deal?

2. I'll believe it when I see a receipt. The HF computer system doesn't allow two coupons to be used on one item without a manager entering his password and putting it in as a miscellaneous % off discount with no coupon code.

I don't have a coupon for the 7 drawer end cabinet but the last one I saw (april) was for $179.

I agree but they are made really well (better than the 26" w version) and the two bottom drawers have HD double slides on each drawer. They make good stand alone carts when you mount wheels on them.

I like the hard copy 25% coupons, but they are getting scarce. July HotRod has one though and also a some of the Mopar magazines still have them. Are there other places people are seeing print versions of 25% ?. Thanks!

Take a picture of one of the coupons with your phone. My HF will accept them that way (they have to be able to read the bar code). Also they accept the coupons I pull up on the web while I am in the store. No questions asked.
