What website is the coupon from? Is the coupon on harbor freight.com?

I would like to know the source as well so that I could cite it if questioned. I have no issuse respectfully standing my ground for a legit coupon.

I tried 3 stores yesterday to get the HF44 for less than the 369 various ways with no luck. One store the cashi er gave me a 20% coupon and was ringing me up just fine, but the the stock guy said the last one they had was being held for a dude picking it up later in the day. Dang it!!

@ysh2000: Try buying it online with your coupon(s) using ship to store. What's also good about that is you can inspect the box before blessing it good enough to take home, i.e., have them send another one if the one you go to pick up is damaged in any way --without packing it repeatedly into your truck. You really need to check those boxes out - lots of reports of receiving them with some sort of damage, just fyi.

@Lefty... just gotta say thanks again. Heckova thing you putting up that HB Coupons site.

Tried ordering online, but coupon is not going through. Hence the reason I need the source of the unrestricted coupon

I just bought the red 5 drawer tool chest today. WOW is all I can say. This thing is STURDY. I've been in and out of HF the past 12 years and would never would think about purchasing something that is more than a few bucks. This thing is definitely worth it and more! Very impressed! I had a coupon for $170. Now I can't stop thinking about what mods I want to do.

You should check out the "Modifications to the HF 4 and 5 drawer service carts - what changes have you made" thread:

I've been following that thread. I got some good ideas already! I'm going to get the magnets to mount the wrenches to the lid. Then I'll probably lay a thin foam mat on the surface of the lid so that I can use it as a working surface. Then modify the cart so that it does not lock when the lid is closed. I kind of wish all of the casters swiveled but I'll make due.

I was looking at those carts as well the other day I might grab that 4 drawer one with the Coupon for $100. Wouldn't the 25% coupon been better on the 5 drawer bringing it down to $142.** from $190. I know you can't use both coupons unless they don't take the 25% on the tool chest ?.

I see thanks didn't know. My buddy was able to use the 25% off on the 16" x 30" Two Shelf Industrial Polypropylene Service Cart unless that's different so got it for $75. I'll pickup the 4 Drawer sometime soon for $100.

I had to get rid of the 4 swivels, dog tracking everywhere was driving me nuts. Then again I push the thing a quarter of a mile from one end of the factory to the other, not around a service Bay.

It's strange,,but seems that the diff item number come with either all swivels or 2 swivels/2 fixed...

Where can I show this coupon online if I need to back it up? Looking to buy s compressor this week
I've seen that coupon linked on here before, and it's on the slickdeals forum thread. I personally don't know if it's even real.. I won't put it on my site.

^ ^ ^ GJer's have had Leaks in the hose reels.

Saw in early part of thread, that HF used to have the ratchet clamps as one of the FREE coupons. Any FREE or super cheap coupons on ratchet clamps ??
Saw this one and thought of you

no you can't use the % off coupons on the tool carts, rollers, or chests.

tried the coupon posted here most recently by Patrick5 and HF took it for the HF44 tool chest. brought the price down to 311.99. i was very respectful when the cashier noted the % off coupons cannot be used for tools storage. I politely said that i realize the majority of the % coupons state this, but this coupon did not have any of those restrictions. She read further, said "you're right" and punched in the 20% off manually.

Those two mods work against eachother. If you actually use the top surface to work on, or even set something heavy onto, it will knock your tools off the magnet, even if you have a pretty strong magnet rail.

Did you print out the coupon and fill out all of the fields? I've just got it saved on my phone and have a feeling they won't buy into using it. Coupon code probably isn't in their system...?

I posted this in the Pass/Fail HF thread, but should have done it here.

I want to grab the welding cabinet that they have, #61705. This is the heavy duty one with the drawer storage. I know guys have grabbed it for under $100 when it goes on sale to $129 or so and with a 25% coupon. It looks to be at $169 now, and I have a 20% coupon. Is this the best I am going to be able to do for this thing in the short term?

Probably. Best thing I can tell you Bull, HF seem to be making the timing and pricing in a bit more erratic route, especially on key items.j

Basically, your cart is a winner, and they know it. So limiting the times it's on a better sale and how long you have to plan for it upcoming are less predictable than they were a few months ago.

I successfully used the 20% off any single item coupon yesterday buying the 29 gallon air compressor I was searching for previously in this thread. The cashier knows me by face, as I've been visiting the local HF quite a few times lately for little air tools and fittings, ect. The cashier was cool about the 20% off the compressor after reading the fine print as it did not specifically say it cannot be used on compressors like the typical 20% and 25% off coupons, but of course the bar code didn't work. Since there's no expiration date either, he called his manager up to override it and I thought I'd be home free with a $285 belt driven compressor

The store manager accused me of photo-shopping the fine print and bar code into the coupon and that I cut out the expiration date and exclusions. After showing her the full coupon online was exactly what I brought to her and is exactly the same picture I printed off (which I've also attached to this post), she gave in and let it slide. I made sure to be respectful and remain calm the whole time during her accusations, where blowing up and making a big fuss probably would have closed the door on me right then and there. Use this valuable coupon if you're good at haggling prices and can do so in a respectful manner. It'll probably work. Just stand your ground, have other purchases lined up so they know you're a good customer and just reiterate that this is a coupon HF gave out, and the fine print has no expiration date nor any exclusions. Keep it simple. No expiration date, no exclusions. 20% off. Again, be respectful.

I just want to take a minute to say thank you for this. I printed one out and took it in last night to my local Harbor Freight store. I was fully prepared for them to tell me to take a hike but I ended up walking out with what I went in for.

For Christmas my parents bought me the 44" upper cabinet to the very popular 13 drawer HF chest. The only problem is that I don't own the chest. Since my birthday is so close to Christmas my parents and my wife decided to split the purchase of the 13 drawer.

I took my coupon in last night and went straight to the register and told the girl there that I wanted to purchase the 44" cabinet and wanted to know if I could use the coupon. At first she explained to me what the 20% off coupon could not be used for. I then politely explained to her that there were no exclusions on this coupon. She then pointed me in the direction of a manager. I spoke to the floor manager and after reading the coupon and saying "Interesting" a few times she said it would be okay. I was able to walk out with the 44" cabinet and a free 4" magnetic parts dish for $333.83.

I will note that the coupon did not scan and that the number on the coupon would not work either. The manager entered it on the screen under "Customer Satisfaction".

Thanks Again!!!

What I wonder is if the coupon is really legit or if someone just made it up. I have no issues using it if it really was a coupon that did not have an expiration date and no exclusions. But anyone can photoshop anything this day and age.

I work for a church and we purchase a lot of items from there regularly. Mostly one time use things, extension cords or just general tools for mission trips that kids can break and wont cost us much. So for me I have the same feeling, plus I could actually lose my job if it were to come back around as a fake. Their coupons have really allowed us to stretch our small budget for a lot of things.

I just added a search/filter box on my site, you can find stuff a bit easier now. You can also link directly to a search, I'm working on making the ability to link directly to the different coupon type as well.

check it out: http://www.hfqpdb.com/?filter=flashlight after the page loads, change the 'flashlight' in the filter input (not the url) to something else, like magnet
