I used a 20% to buy my engine stand. Searched for a better coupon for a few weeks to no avail.

My friend picked one up last year. They wouldn't let him use the 20% off coupon because they classified the engine stand as a "floor jack" (excluded on % off coupons) :headscrat :wtf:

I'm guessing the mgr was being a tight-wad. It does affect their bonus as related to sales.

That's some bs.

I would have asked the manager to demonstrate its jacking abilities:wtf:

Has anyone seen a coupon for a 44" top chest recently? Im trying to decide if it's worth waiting for a discount or just pay full price next weekend when i buy the bottom on sale.

Can always use one or more of these. I have a stack that comes in handy. My kid moves every 180 days or so.

When I help the local furniture bank I leave them some.

Plus, you can use the coupon every day until July 4th

I believe the best coupon I saw for the top was $30 off.....I know thats what it was for the 56'' top. I opted the $30 savings wasn't worth the wait :bounce:

The HF generator 9000/7250 on special coupon one day only for ITC 03/07/19 is $549.99.

That is $80.00 less than the sale they had last week.

Good call, that isn't much savings at all.
I picked up the bottom, we'll see how long i can hold out without the top.

It's a long shot, but where are you located? I *might* be willing to part with my 44" top box (bought it late 2017...so not the series-2 version)

I'm in CA, nowhere you unfortunately.
Though I'd only be interested in a 56, but thanks for the offer!

For those that may be in a similar boat as me that needs a new floor jack..

The Yellow Daytona is on sale this weekend for $174.99

$5 cheaper than usual and just $1 more than the all-time low.

Gotcha. Maybe the cashier/manager won't mind.

the issue isn't the cashier. the register has been programmed to not accept it.

you need the manager to override it, as mentioned before. some will, some won't.

being pleasant, mentioning that you have a paper copy, and made a special (long) trip, and having other things to buy will all likely help tip the scales in your favor.

mentioning that a great deal like this will make it past the spouse, while the current deal won't might also help . . . . .

good luck.

I have to say I have never had a problem validating a coupon snipped from the database and I put thru a lot a coupons from there, along with email, magazine ads and catalog

Worst case issue for me is getting the cash register attendant to try and read the numbers off to manually enter them if the scan tool doesn't pick up the bar code :spit:

Does anyone have any comment on what the difference is between the standard Daytona jack and the Professional version? There are coupons for $109.99 for the standard version all of the time. I really want the low profile long reach jack though.

New catalog has 25" 1/2" drive Pittsburgh Pro Breaker bar for $14.99 :D

Coupon good until 4/30/19

I prefer my GEARWRENCH 81308D 1/2-Inch Drive Full Polish Flex Handle 24-Inch (mine was made in Taiwan) currently $43.78 from amazon, currently $35.99 from Advance (current Advance code RMN25 for 25% off online orders over $100, free shipping on orders over $25) that I bought several years ago when Advance Auto parts had a deal on them over the currently $8.99 (HF item number 60819/67933) with coupon from Harbor Freight but YMMV. IMO the currently $8.99 HF breaker bar is a great choice to carry in the trunk.

I haven't tried the Harbor Freight ICON or their cheaper cushion grip breaker bars.

Other breaker bar coupons currently at http://www.hfqpdb.com/search/breaker

I also prefer my CDI torque wrenches over the ones from Harbor Freight but I have no issues with my backup HF torque wrenches, made in China - often said to be based on an older Proto design from the '70s, especially at the price with a coupon.

What is the end play like on the HF breaker bars? I have a Husky breaker bar that has decent gaps between the drive head and the yoke. Most of the time it's useless under the truck as the excess pivot and play between socket/bolt make for a large sweep before I can apply any torque. I have tried to add a shim in the gap but there is a spring on one side negating my attempt. I don't use one often enough to spend a lot on a good quality breaker bar but when loosening lug nuts and I don't want to use an impact, it would be nice not to have to dig out the Husky for other vehicles also as it lives in a case behind the Dakota's seats.
