I think another tool vendor has a pinless one trying to remember?

I tried that once as a nooby tech. Hurts like he'll. Didn't break anything thoughAgree with above, all brands will wear out, however I have noticed that my SK swivel sockets, and my Snap on ones last considerably longer than the adapters of any brand. A co worker here was stupid and broke his finger with a swivel, it was a industrial brand, cant recall, pin holding the socket broke and whack into his index, but he shouldn't have been trying to hold the socket in place while in use. rofl.
SK 3/8 Impact Universal

26 bucks from JB tool sales with free shipping and no tax (depends on your state.)
I have both a old Japan Sunex that has held up extremely well, but my SK has been the best value yet.
Definetly need 1/2" but thank you.
The 3/8" has functions well with my M18.
I break the 1/2" frequently with an AirCat 1200K. Always replaced with out any hassle. I haven't bought a better model because the unit cost gets lower and lower every time I replace it....
Good deal on that Snap on!
OP jump on it.

Good eye I didn't notice the pin retention those are a pita
