This is an article my wife found..have to make sure it is real and word may be out already....

Harbor Freight Tools settled a class action lawsuit that could give shoppers up to 30% back on all of their purchases. The lawsuit was brought on by Dworken & Bernstein due to misleading sales prices. Harbor Freight allegedly advertised merchandise at a “sale” or “compare at” prices, but the goods were never sold at a higher price.

The settlement applies to goods that were purchased from April 8, 2011 through December 15, 2016.

If you kept your itemized receipts, you can submit a claim. You’ll get a minimum of 20% of the amount you saved in cash or 30% of that amount on a gift card.

If you haven’t kept your itemized receipts, you can still submit a claim. You can get up to 10% cash back or 12% in gift cards on total purchases of qualifying products.

If you don’t have receipts, you can fill out a form to make a sworn statement confirming your claim. You will get a $10 gift card.

In order to receive payment, you must complete the claim form and mail it or submit it online no later than August 7, 2017.

I don't participate in class action lawsuits... Besides, I knew the prices were bs anyway. I can't imagine being so stupid to not realize HF was playing the pricing game.

I believe anyone who encourages and supports frivolous lawsuits by bottom-feeding sleazeball attorneys by participating in this class action kangaroo court settlement really does deserve the stink of a $10 Harbor Freight gift certificate in their wallet.

YMMV.

Funny thing I have all my receipts, that is the good part.:thumbup::rocker:

The bad part is you can no longer read them, something about how the light just kills them.:dunno::rolleyes::eek:

Oh well you can never win, in the end the Attorneys always win the money and the little guy always ends up on the short stick.:wtf:

A lot of lawyers have made millions off the stupidity of people. Like back before they started putting every sort of warning sticker on ladders ("ladders will slide in mud, livestock manure", etc.), lawyers made millions suing the ladder co's on the behalf of injured stupid people.

And it'll stink 10x more when they trade that gift certificate for $10 worth of Chinesium tools.
