Ill admit im far from knowing the older snap on sets but that is the first set ive ever seen that includes a ratcheting driver along with the 8pc set.

That's the exact set I want. I'm a freak when it comes to blue stuff. Hell I have a blue weber kettle, blue tool boxes, 4 blue motorcycles, a ton of blue helmets etc.

But that's more than Im willing to spend. But they sure look cool.

I like how guys with a shrink wrapper re package things and then claim they're new.The dummy put half the drivers in upside down so the snap on isn't showing on the handles and every new set of snap on screwdrivers I've ever seen had cardboard under the shrinkwrap with the description of the set and model number.Some sucker will buy them and think he's the first guy to lay hands on them.

I agree, I am pretty sure those were listed the day before at 275 with out the shrink wrap.

wow I have the same set in the same condition even have the blue pry bars to match, not sealed in plastic though (trip to video store solves that) guess ill list mine at 299.99 cause they arent worth 300

WOW!! That makes the $97.95 I paid on 09/05//97 seem like a great investment! Hell, include the $113.40 I paid on 10/03/97 for the matching pry bar set, the $79.95 paid on 05/25/99 for the blue 36" pry bar as well as the remaining blue hard handle tools I have and I should be able to retire soon if I list these puppies for sale on ebay! (Yes, I DO have my reciepts for ALL my truck purchases an I did look this up!) :bounce:

Just in case anyone is wondering, yes they are all dark blue and NO my tools are not for sale. However, if any one has any they would like to sell I would LOVE to hear the details....:drool:

My driver still has one of those blue ratcheting drivers last time I checked. I should buy it and sell it for $100.

You all looked at the enlarged pictures and saw there were 2 sets he is selling not just one.

Also those are very nice!

Blue ratcheting one was gone when I checked. He has orange, but he said you can still get that from Snappy. Also he had a few sizes of blue nut drivers (SAE), but I think these are also still available too :dunno: I don't really use nut drivers too much. Have an older set of Proto Challenger. But I wouldn't mind putting together a set of the Snappy ones in alternate colors. Would make it easier to reach for the right size. But you know priorities.....:)

some guys dont know what there talking about and thinks everybody is scamming and snap-on only wraps wit part numbers and cardboard FYI these 9pc sets only came in a large box alond with a 1/24 scale kevin harvick diecast car for the make a wish foundation. the factory shrink wrap isint really all that tight so screwdrivers move around durning shipping. instead of shaking the **** out of them to get them all going the same way to please the know it all some guy leave them alone as not to damage the tray which is a lot more important than a photo to many guys. This guy must be stupid but they sold for $280.00.

OK then..nice first post...I think I understood some of it..The guy selling them wasn't stupid,the guy who paid that for them was.
