I started recording my bp on monday because of how low it has been, I quit taking one of my BP pills a couple of days ago, and I want paperwork to show my Doc next week what happened.
This morning it was 137/72, Monday it was 95/53, so I'm doing better, thanks for being concerned guys.
I went outside this morning and it was 68° and the humidity was super low, almost felt cold! I noticed that there were two very large (8" dia.) limbs down in front of my shed, so I went and got the tractor and pulled them to the woods, since I had the tractor I pulled some bushes out of my neighbors yard that were blocking Pat's line of site when pulling out of the driveway.

I had talked to Danny about pulling 10 of them out, they were diseased and the first one was leaning toward the road. The rest are healthy and block his house from the back of my shop.
So while I was at it I hauled a couple of buckets of dirt to fill a hole in his front yard where a tree used to be.
So then I hauled a bucket of dirt to Jeff's house, he had a large hole in his back yard, then I got the mower out and cut the grass. Got done about 4:00, grabbed a shower and headed to Charlston Tn. For a meeting at 6:00. I think I'm done for today!
It's supposed to be cool again tomorrow, if it is I'm going to keep working in the yard. I organized a work day at the lodge for Saturday morning, we'll sand drywall then.

-Dirt? You've got dirt on your property? When I lived in Polk County I had to dig a 20 foot trench by hand for the line between the transformer and the shop. I don't recall getting more than a spoonful or two of dirt out of it. Plenty of rocks but not much dirt in the soil. You're a lucky man to have dirt Jim. Hope things are well for you and yours.

Ronin, we call it dirt.

I filled this spot about three years ago and still no grass. You know.
You could stop mowing that spot for a season. I did on a couple deep fill spots, and the weeds came in. Then after getting mowed in the fall the grass came in. It's a bit spotty, but better than the desert I had before.

Got back to the lodge on Saturday.

I made and installed a new return air intake, trying to reduce some noise, this is 30x24, the old one was 20x20.

I even got the bil to help! He's kind of handy at times.

Then Pat and I went back on Sunday, She painted the crown molding and door trim in one of the rooms,

while I sanded and coated some more mud.

I got most of the high stuff final coated, hopefully a sand and I can call that part done.
Pat said let's go back again today!

I gathered up a few more this morning!
Hey Jim, your collection is incomplete! I have one of these I use on prototype plumb jobs on site at accounts when I plumb up the hydraulic hose installations. It fits in the tool loop on my work pants and I can use it on many sizes of port adapters and hose end swivel nut, its handy for the 1/4" hose connections all the way up to 1-1/2" hose connections:

Thanks everyone, we had a great day, just went bumming around, ate lunch at Tazikize, that won't happen again!
A couple of the men from the lodge showed up to work, so we worked.

We got a couple of the floors stripped and ready for wax, some cleaned and swept, and we sanded and primed the lodge room. Pat and I are going back to paint tomorrow.

Michael, me too!
Tony, I haven't had a decent gyro since 2002! Tazikizes resturant chopped it up like ground beef and blackened it, it was horrible!
Kirk, slowly but surely it's getting there. Pat has been a big help.
We worked there again today.

I got the first coat of color on today.
according to Pat white is a color!

Way down there the drywall was cut to big at the outlet, I had to put a ¾" piece in and mud it.

Once the white satin finish was on I found about five spots, so I mudded them and tomorrow I'll sand and primer them before I do coat #2.
I'm trying to hurry and get this room finished by Wednesday, Thursday I have to take a trailer load of trikes to Georgia, we're going to set up at the moonshine car show in Dalton for the weekend. I'm going to try to get the boys to clean the lodge while I'm gone.

Thanks Lenny, I am doing pretty good right now and feeling better than I have in a while. I hope you are doing well also buddy.
The moonshine car show was a success we sold some product and made some good contacts, looks like we are going to pigeon forge in September and Panama city Florida I think it's in December. The (family group) vendors at the show wanted us to go with them to Louisville next weekend but I wasn't up to that much that soon, I still have a lodge to get finished.
I may be going to Mineral Bluff Georgia today to pick up a roll top desk for the lodge project.

I went to a car show at Red Clay State park today ( look up Red Clay state parks history, it will blow your mind) and got put to work! I had to judge this one, there were about 60-70 cars there. These pics were some of my favorites but not necessarily the winners, you have to be able to set aside personal favorites when you judge, it's not my favorite job but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.

I did sell another trike frame today, that was the reason for going.
I'm going to be in pigeon forge September 12,13,14 at the fall Rod Run selling trikes, y'all come by and see me!
