Well we woke to no water this morning!
20260121_115347.jpg
Went to the well house and found a bad pressure switch. They just built a new Ace hardware down the highway about three miles so I went and got a new switch. Not what I wanted to do first thing this morning.

Back around 2012, Pat and I flipped this one, other than some bad 1995 paint it was perfect. It was Pats, she owned it before she owned me so I have always felt bad about wrecking it, actually I was driving when the locking mechanism fell out of the trailer! Who would have thunk it! So I've always said I would replace it.

The 2005 Superduty

and the 93 Z71 are on the chopping block.
I talked to the owner of the tahoe last night, if I buy it Ill be the third owner, this guy has only had it a few months.

Sorry but you guys will need to wait a bit longer to get your shot at
Ma Brown!
I think she will look good next to the white Tahoe. Now for a Catalina blue 1975 squarebody shortbed.

I loved that joke. Still makes me grin. How big a lift is that, and are those 44s? I really like it, anyway.

No lift, its stock, I did have to crank the torsion bars up a couple of turns, but the front had settled a bit.
I can't remember the tire size but there only around 32"
I was playing with the AI version and it was a 10" lift with 44s.
I have a 3" lift that I will eventually put on it, if I turn and hit a dip it will touch the front corner of the fender.
Just pulled out of the yard headed to N. Carolina riding in the bil's freightliner!

The AI version was what I was asking about. I just did a 2"-3" Rough Country lift on 8-ball, the late BiL's OBS Tahoe. Guessing it's the same kind of lift you have. Pretty easy job.

Are you back yet with a new toy?

The second owner owned a repair shop, he rebuilt and converted the A/C to 134A, new radiator, new alternator, new gaskets, tune up, and a paint job a couple years ago. The guy I got it from never put it in his name so technically Im #3.
It came through Knoxville traffic cruising at close to 80 mph like it was nothing! It runs super quit. It has a little slop in the steering, like a loose idler arm. There are some broken fasteners in the interior, and the top of the dash is cracked, new piece is $59.00,
Im tickled to death with it.

My lift is new torsion keys and rear blocks.

It was 40 degrees here today so not too bad.

The snow got pretty rough this morning but quit by noon.
I had to go to Lowes and get a well tank and some plumbing supplies, the old tank would not drain so I had to go get the tractor and rig the tank and lift it out, my well house only has a lift off roof, no door!

Dude came over and helped get it done. Then the heater was broke so back to Walmart for a new one. Its all done and working now. I have plans to cut a door into the front wall but thats been very low priority. Maybe next summer!

Kay, I cut the valve off, it was draining quick and just stopped. I guess the bladder covered the hole in the bottom. I had a piece of 10-3 wire and tried to poke it, no Bueno.

Kirk, Its at least #292
Drill a couple holes in the side and as close to the bottom as you can. I usually go in low with a jobber bit, wiggle it around, then deeper with a 12 inch bit and ruin the bladder.

Did a little finish work in the bedroom, Pat got new curtains and the rods had to go up 1¾" higher. I finished the shoe molding in the closet. Its ready for furniture. Got to go build trikes tomorrow, we have a show in about 40 days.

I'd have to dig deep, Jim, but I've got pictures of my 1984 GPz 1100 in my living room.
I *might* have also had my '73 H2 750 drag bike in the dining room, and possibly fired it up.

Several times.

And possibly done a burnout on the hardwood floor.

Once.

Hmmm.
Wonder why that wife left.
More importantly, why didn't I do that sooner?? 😅

I lived in south Florida, the stolen motorcycle capital of the world.lol All motorcycles needed to be kept indoors or they’d be gone. At one point I didn’t have a garage and had what looked like a bike shop in my living room.

I lived in a small town, no worries about the bikes being stolen.
I just cared more about them than I did that wife!
