If you take a pic of your vehicle and tell AI to make your vehicle a cartoon like rat fink, this is what you get.

Nice looking truck! Looks like your snow is about gone.
In Maine, that truck would be a rust bucket, and we hang on to our snow a bit longer! :coffee:

This is the icon, there were several to choose from, so I started here, I am playing with a couple others.

I grew up with Rat Fink and Big Daddy Roth also, I had all of the model cars on a shelf in my bedroom.

Kirk, I can probably buy you a truck body here pretty cheap. I gave 5000 for this one but I probably paid too much, being who it came from.

Prospector, Thank you, Im the third owner, both of the previous owners were old ladies, the last owner was Pats sister she is in her 80s, so its never been beat on, it has 66,000 miles on it, so its got a lot left in it. Typically our snow is gone by noon on the next day, since the temperature has been so cold its been hanging around too long! Its supposed to rain today so that should take care of the rest of it, I hope!
Going to work on trikes today.

Mr zippy, you can have that conversation with Pat when Im gone, sometimes I think she only keeps me around for that truck! Lol.
Ma Brown is scheduled for an upgrade this year.

Roger, it definitely sat under cover for most of its life, her and her husband owned three trucks and a mini van, 90% of the time they drove the mini van.

This place was a full service gas station a few years ago, I think the same family still owns it. Anyway they had a great burgers and fried mushrooms.

It was supposed to be near 50° today, so I did some errands, went to Walmart, got some things for the Blazer.
20260122_151922.jpg
Came home with the idea of working on it for a while. I put the new wiper blades on it and plugged two holes in the front bumper, then called it quits, it was only 36° and trying to rain.
I went to the basement and installed fusion 360 and cura slicer on my old laptop, I just cant get my newer laptop to function like its supposed to.

Thats pretty cool, I've been working on some script for things, like trikes and my trucks, I want to do an insert for my gauge cluster and see if I can print it. My Brother used to do that with his motercycle gauges, he would do things like print different style logos behind the numbers.

It went from this.

To this so far.
It's a little warmer today so I have been outside working on trucks, waiting on Donnie to get back so we can work on trikes.

Maybe in different colors?

Yeah, we're really warm, almost back to freezing. But tomorrow is back into the deep freeze with a high of 2*F. Yippie.

I went to the grocery store earlier, the roads were ****, the state hasn't dropped a plow out on 64 hwy yet.

Mind you I'm from SE WI but do they even have a plow to drop.
I was in Cleveland TN a couple years ago to look at a truck and thought about asking you about establishments to eat at. I found an alright bar and a good diner for breakfast. Unfortunately I'm less sociable online than I am in person, unless I have a few drinks in me.

Next time your headed this way, just ask, I know every rat hole in three county's around here. I know people with air bnb that are cheaper than a hotel also.
When I first moved to Cleveland I ran the city garage, we bought a bunch of snow equipment from Monroe in Wisconsin, they have the plows and salt spreader now, I think they had two 1 ton plows before.
Anyone headed this way can ask me for info, its not a problem.

It made it to 60° today so I was able to get out and do a little work.
20260206_125520.jpg
I bought this from Willie last summer, Jeff and I went over and got it.
20260206_125454.jpg
I bought it for a parts truck, mainly for the interior.

The interior in my 93 Z71 is a bit tired.

Everyone said that I wouldn't be able to take the dash out without it braking. ( Said with chest puffed out a bit). We'll its out and nothing broke except one of the tabs on a piece of door trim above the passenger door!
Screenshot_20260208_191259_Chrome.jpg
This truck had the cup holder, its red so Im going to paint it blue, they want 40 dollars for a blue one.
20260122_150142.jpg
The Blazer doesn't have a cup holder and I really like the way this one works, so Im hoping for a good paint match. I also got a dash skin in today for it, Im going to try that and see how it looks before I swap out the whole dash, they get 400 dollars for a blue dash so Im hoping this works. I have a heat staple gun and am going to weld the cracks before I put the skin on it.
Going to be back in the trike shop all next week.

We have 29 days before we leave, only problem is that we are doing chevies in the smokies the weekend after Florida so we get home Sunday, reload the trailer monday, and head to the smokies on Tuesday, so we have to build enough stock to be ready to go!
