Harley Jim , I really enjoyed reading all these posts. I am not sure I could keep up with you. Your days go sort of like mine but I take more breaks. Heck, I had to take three breaks just reading though all this but it was worth it. Keep it up . I am on the follow list.

Maybe my age might have something to do with it but I am not stopping, just slowing down a little more next year.

Merry Christmas. I am located in the state below you and its cold outside tonight. Tom

HJ, I wanted to say Merry Christmas to everyone at your place. That sign turned out great, that color choice is a winner. I thought maybe something else was grown at that farm. :pimpflash

HaHaHa
I have known a few people that have blown tanks in the past.
One in particular was a man welding on the bottom of an 18 wheeler tanker trailer. I was a 1/4 mile from it when it blew and it moved the skin on the industrial building I was in. The trailer went 30 feet in the air, it broke windows all around the area. The guy was kneeling under it and the force pressed him to the ground, no real injuries, he walked away.
My buddy Paul used to light up gas tanks in his radiator shop all the time, would scare the hell out of us.

Iv been reading and looking at some pics and I’ll admit I’m a bit of a conspiracy theorist, and something doesn’t look right especially with the lack of media coverage.

Guess I'm not sure what the comments on lack of coverage are about

Fox News and CNN both had it as their primary and almost exclusive story for first 24 hours on their website & its still getting substantial coverage on the website as of this posting.

It's an active, ongoing investigation with no active manhunt and at this point no confirmed fatalities but are investigating potential remains found on site. So without the dramatic manhunt(aka Boston Bomber) and with fortunately no confirmed fatalities at this point its less sensational news so isn't getting wall to wall coverage on all sources, but doesn't mean its getting buried and ignored.

And he gifted his two houses to a girl from CA... her face book picture is kinda cute... she says she had no idea about the gift. In NC you don't need to even know about getting property ahead of time... Very glad so few were injured. I kind of agree... there is something major not being said.

I gas station I used to live near... was welding under a car and the gas tank went... (when I was a kid)... I remember the sound and after smell. He didn't make it but his two workers were "in the pit" and survived unharmed.

You've seen too many movies.

Right, when there is more to know it'll be reported. Just because certain facts have not been found or if found have not been verified for the new media to report as fact doesn't mean there's any big conspiracy.

....I kind of agree... there is something major not being said.

If there IS something "not being said" maybe it's not a conspiracy but the something isn't known or hasn't been verified.

Maybe the FBI, DHS, ATF and local police decided not to announce Richard Jewell was a 'person of interest' this time. Once the bits of human remains were positively identified, along with the motorhome ID plate they were able to name a suspect. Pretty sure the DMV got involved with the VIN tag but I can't be sure. The New York Times printed:

"DNA tests show that Anthony Warner blew himself up along with a chunk of downtown Nashville on Christmas morning."

This is a free country so everyone is allowed their opinion, including it was revenge by the aliens for Roswell (lower case indicates I'm not positive).

Worked on the bil's house today. The north end of the house was an open BBQ pit and picnic area and he wants to make a master suite out of it. We removed the pit, chimney, and brick wall back in the summer then we poured a new footer and short wall. Yesterday we finished the floor this involved building the floor up to a pair of 4x4 posts we installed to help support the roof when we removed the pit and brick wall then the 4x4s were shortened and moved onto the floor then the last run of flooring was installed.
Today the 2x4 wall was trimmed back at the bottom as it ran up and down following the contour of the brick. Then sisters were cut and placed next to the studs then short pieces of 2x4 were added to finish the framing out. We cut the osb up to four feet and installed three new sheets to the outside.
20201228_162413.jpeg
The studs were extended. Note the 4x4s holding the roof up.
20201228_162442.jpeg
Installing the osb
20201228_173112.jpeg
We had a roll of tar paper so we installed it to keep things dry until spring. The house will get new siding in the spring.
20201228_162426.jpeg
We will build the end wall tomorrow. The room will be roughly 16x24 ft. when finished, there is another 8x16 ft. room at the other end of this room that will be the master bath then to the right of the bath will be a walk in closet.
More to come,

I got a call from the powder coat shop my pedal car should be ready this afternoon. I need to build a chassis and start on some axles.
[/URL]

I still haven't caught up, but I need details the next steps for the pedal car build. Restore, trad hot rod, gasser, low rider, slammed, 4x4? My wagons are taking a back seat for the next few years, so I need a fix, by proxy.
