I don't know about slow...I have a hard time keeping up with everything you have going on. Keep up the great work. I'm enjoying the updates.

I'd have to agree. I'd even call you out on being old, because from the sound of it, you don't move like an old person.

HJ, gazebo is almost ready for the reveal! What are you using to cut across the ribs on your roofing?
I had to laugh at your reference to Oak Island, I’m right there with you. It tries my patience every week. They are finding some interesting things but I don’t consider leather straps and rocks treasure. :wtf: :headshake
I’m in it until the bitter end though.

That green roof metal looks like the ASYLUM roof. Well, before years of pollen has taken its toll. Now it looks closer to the tan siding after my neglect.

Its looking great! Now get some rest, would ya!

So do I at times. Thanks for being here.[emoji106]
Kay
Thanks, my ocd wouldn't let me do anything else.

I appreciate the vote of confidence but it took a hydro and a pot of coffee before I could move this morning.

I'm screwing the sheet metal to the square tube cross members then everything will be bolted together once it's on top.

I use a drywall square to align the screws.

Three rows of screws on each panel.

This is the bottom side. Should be bright with all of the white.

Yep, mine is the same way. I fill a pump sprayer with bleach and spray the roofs then hose them off, it works well.
That pine pollen will turn everything yellow.
I'm like Kay if I sit still it hurts worse than if I keep moving. I did overdue it yesterday.

I have the roof panels done but we are under a tornado watch so I'm keeping the big green sails in the shop today. It is eerily calm right now, 3:43pm maybe tomorrow.
So I took some time and fixed some of my welding gloves. The welding sparks burn the thread and they come unraveled, you would think they would use a thread that would hold up a little better.

Three pair like this.
20210317_142556.jpeg
The Granddaughter makes Indian jewelry and the thread she uses is called sinew it has very a very good flameproof tendency.
20210317_143145.jpeg
Took about an hour to repair three pair.
20210317_143511.jpeg
At 10 dollars a pair I fix them.
20210317_143728.jpeg
Now back to the fun stuff. I'm going to spend the rest of the day playing.

There was a guy in a machine shop I worked at who used to reknit the fingers of the safety gloves we got, since they doled them out very sparingly. My hat's off to you.

I'm hoping the Tornado didn't happen or if it did that it missed you and your friends. :dunno:

best of luck on the Gazebo and i'm sure it will be a great spot to spend a few evenings after a hard day's doings.

that cart has become quite the project.

Thanks, I looked at Amazon before posting the Tillmans are 13.50 pair. I swear they use cotton thread, when the first spark hits them they start comming apart.

Thank God we dodge the bullet again. Had over 5" of rain the past couple of days but all is well.
I got the Gazebo bolted to the foundation and put the four roof panels up. It all went very smooth, I had installed all of the bolts and fasteners while it was being built. I have learned to fully assemble every part before going to powder coat or paint. If you dont something will be off and you will reck your finish.
20210318_101015.jpeg
Loaded all the parts, tools, and one panel to start with.
20210318_121210.jpeg
First two panels up, we used a stiff leg to support the roof while we were assembling it.
20210318_124941.jpeg
We tipped the end of the panel up and slid them onto the top rail then slipped the corner blocks down into the corner tubes.
20210318_132710.jpeg
Self tapping screws were installed through the corner posts into the corner blocks that are welded to the roof panels.

It didnt show up very well but there are three 3/8" bolts going through each set of double rails where two panels meet.

Taking a break.

I still need to install the ridge caps, the fan/light, and a cupola/weather vein.

I made a tray of Crispy Chicken wings in honor of your Gazebo...

I ate them.

That Gazebo is great... Love the roof...

This has electrical outlets in the uprights right? Can't wait for the first BBQ under that... post pictures of the first party.

Thanks Terry, We kind of like the green, it's on six different roofs here. One more to go.
Racer John, I appreciate that, it's been a while getting done, dang delays.
Thanks Craig, I think it will hold a big block. Lol, yes it is very stout.
Kev, right, I've heard it two times already.
Pines, now I want a chicken wing. It will have outlets got to have music while I eat. The first party is set for this Saturday night. Fire wood is stacked and ready.
Shorty, you and Craig show up we'll open a jar and cook the first thing that runs past the field. Last thing past was a cow. [emoji106]

I got to work on the speedy cart today
20210319_171713.jpeg
I cut apart the old battery box to get the hold down slots. They work well with the velcro straps. I cant finish this area yet, I'm waiting on a battery charger to arrive.
20210319_171753.jpeg
I cut three pieces of steel for the floor of the cargo area.
20210319_171804.jpeg
The center section will be moveable as it will also be the lid for the battery box.

GAZEBO looks amazing. :bowdown::bowdown:

I know you are having fun playing with the mobile shopping cart chair, but I bet if you spent that much time on Pat's bronco 65 pickup combo it would be done by now. :D

have a great weekend!!

Pat has her toy the 64 chevy is for me. I sold my 70 F100 yesterday the guy is coming from Ohio to get it in a week or so.
I need to fix an oil leak in my superduty then the Tahoe is going in the main bay of the shop for disassembly( the tahoe is the chassis doner) so I'm guessing about two weeks I will be getting started on it.
