Riv, I dont have a tennis ball (yet) but I lay in the floor and flex and stretch a lot, I like to lay flat and put my feet in the recliner then roll left and right.
Jeff, the Doc gave me a round of steroids, it stopped itching the next day and cleared in three days. I was ready to shower in lacquer thinner before I got them. Thanks for helping buddy.
Kirk, glad that's working for ya. Kay's a pretty smart lady, I only got one day in before the steroids so double whammy it.

I moved to the basement today, Its part of the generator install project that I really want off my plate.
First I had to install a water spigot on the front of the house.

I also ran two cctv cables while I had the siding off, and put a 1/2" spacer behind the siding to mount the spigot to. I'm going to have the foundation stuccoed after the east wall is finished.

I tee tapped the main line.

I had to pull several wires out of the panel and reroute them, they were pulled across the floor joists not between them.

I still need to move some data cables, the 12"x 12" box on the left is my internet, it comes down the old electric weatherhead and loose cables run everywhere from it, they need to be routed above the floor joists. The 2" coming out the bottom goes to the shop it has about a dozen cat 5e, cable tv, and cctv cables, and a pull rope just in case they invent something new.

We painted part of the basement. This is the wall where the sink and cabinet will go.

The fridge will go to the right, the sink and cabinet in the middle and a stove on the left. That's the stove in the foreground.

Tony, half of the basement could be adult beverages. Sometimes I dont know when to quit making.

Kirk, I get it right once in a while, it's nice down there.

I bought a couple of trailers yesterday.
20210728_162029.jpg
This one is 18' steel floor with 3500 lb axles.

This one is 26' it is a concession trailer, it has two serving windows on the other side.

I got to work in the basement for about an hour so not much progress. I have to go pick up another load of pallets today so I may not make it to the basement today.

were the trailers a great deal that had to follow you home or do tell why you bought them and the purpose? nice work on the plumbing and sounds like you need to plumb a THIRD LINE ffrom the basement to the kitchen sink for the WINE?

hope you are feeling a bit better every day and looks like you are moving around so that's a good thing.

cheers!!

I went to look at the concession trailer to use as temporary storage for the items in the basement. It would be a lot easier to finish it empty, when I got there we talked price for a bit and left, I called back and made an offer on the car trailer and said I wasnt interested in the other one, my offer was accepted and I did a U-turn and went back, more discussion was had on the concession trailer and I left again with the car trailer. An hour later we agreed on a price on the other trailer and I'm going back today for it. I dont want to boast but I could sell the car trailer and recoup most of my money.
I'll use the concession trailer over the winter and make a couple of changes to it and sell it in the spring.
I have to watch myself with the home brew I enjoy making it more than drinking it, I usually give most of it away. My Daughter in law cleaned me out this month when they visited from Chicago so I need to get busy and make some more. I'm going to try BlackBerry this time.

I am feeling better, work always makes a Man feel better!

Trailers around here are going for way too much money, did the seller have it advertised or was this an inside deal?

The basement looks like it is coming along nicely, the work will be worth it for sure.

They were listed, but the bil knew who owned them.

They offered this for 8G it needs the steering cylinder repacked.
It's got a clam shell and forks

I got both trailers for stupid low money.
That storage trailer is going to help the basement project so much, not tripping over furniture and totes will be great

Kirk, I'm not sure what is going on there, someone added about 5' to the light plug, funny thing is where it was cut it passes right by the other end of the cut: Dunno.
The big cable is the 110 shore line, it will get cut off and a recptical added. Lots of little things to fix, it was an amature job. I may wind up gutting it and put it back to a car hauler, just depends on the market when I get there.

When we finished emptying the clothes the back seat of Pat's truck was full above the rear view mirror and the shotgun seat in my truck is full, I took a truckload in my superduty to the dumpster and there is at least a full truckload of other stuff that we will take with us to the world's longest yard sale the first week of October, it's a 4 day event that runs the leinght of route 411 hwy. Our lodge is on 411 hwy so we do very well on that one.
I have another enclosed trailer just for that event so I'll transfer everything to it for safe keeping.

I made a tool to disassemble the pallets so I thought I would take a few apart to test it out.

It worked pretty good. This is what I got in about an hour.

The 1x6 are around 48" long
20210801_200624.jpg
These are 2x4s and 2x3s all around 10' long. They will work great for the shead.
