Over at ToolGuyd I am holding a giveaway where (2) or more winners will receive up to $75 worth of their choice of new tools from Harry Epstein.

ToolGuyd HE Giveaway

I want to extend that giveaway to you guys here at GJ.

The rules are the same - browse HE's catalog, and tell me what you would want to win in a reply to this post/thread.

There's an up to $75 total limit, and there's a limit as to what I can pay for shipping, so continental USA addresses only, and wished-for products that require hefty shipping fees or truck freight are not eligible.

For a second chance to win, the ToolGuyd giveaway is open to all.

Entry ends 11/22/13.

http://store.harryepstein.com

The winner will be selected at random, only GJ members that were members as of Oct 2013 or earlier and with 10 non-classified posts or more are eligible to win.

Update: There's also a surprise me option, where I and possibly Jori come up with the prize.

i dunno, i've pretty much already bought out anything from epstein's that i'm looking for, LOL. if someone just gave me $75 and said, hey, go spend it, i'd probably do it in one of two ways:

(1) knipex 12" cobras + wright 2426 full-polish 1/4" drive ratchet

OR

(2) a full set of klein or vaco nut drivers (just for completeness' sake in my toolbox, LOL) + the same wright 2426 1/4" ratchet

give me another $25 and there's a nice belzer 4-piece pozidriv driver set on closeout. :)

Thanks Stuey,

I sift through the HJE site almost daily. Limiting us to only $75 is terrible. I started off first by considering one of the Armstrong ratchets. The locking flex are the bomb. I already have the 1/4" and 3/8". The 1/2" is beyond the price limit so that's ruled out. Of course there are hundreds of items that caught my attention when the Western Forge shipment arrived last year especially the larger adjustables but they too are north of the spending limit. The Proto screwdriver clearout was too much to resist when it came out last year before the WF products and I ended up with the "big" set which is awesome. You'll never know when you might need a 36" driver to fix your reading glasses. I guess in the end a set of the Wright punches (12pc), the Products Engineering 4" double square and the Rigid Cut Right II pliers will be a nice addition to an already growing collection of US tools.

Thanks for the opportunity.

-Paul

ps. This will be going to upstate NY (13655) when I win

3/8 ratchet in 1/4 body. Really have been wanting one of these for small or tight areas!!!

Heard the reviews are awesome and I know after I use one of these I'll want more Wright stuff! That's how it always happens.

I would add a little money and get these:

8701180
7 1/4" Knipex Cobra Pliers
7 1/4 $28.70

8701250
10" Knipex Cobra Pliers
10 $30.45

8701300
12" Cobra Knipex Pliers
12 $42.10

Or if I could only spend $75, I'd get the 7.1/4" and 12" and buy the 10" later.

Nice contest!

I'd definately go for the Armstrong 1/4" drive ratchet and the Armstron 3/8 drive ratchet

Armstrong #10-992
Armstrong #11-992

Simply because I have yet to own an Armstrong ratchet but ever since I used a friends I have wanted one. Besides I still use Craftsman RP 3/8 lol

I have a friend who has these and they are pretty impressive. I have a pair of channel locks that are pretty used up and would like to have a set of Knipex Cobras to take over the duties!

Awesome thing to do for GJ! I check your site and Epstein's almost daily for cool tidbits of info/find out what cool new thing Epstein got in. With the almost endless possibilities of what Jori has, I'd have to go with the "surprise me" option!
