We bought a bunch of pallets of Felo, mostly ratcheting screwdriver sets, screwdrivers and pliers. This isn't overstocks or weird liquidation that didn't sell. It's a long list of mostly good stuff that just happened to need a home. It should arrive in a few weeks, but it's a lot, so it might take us time to get it online but it will happen before the big day.

wait, it's starts on the july 4th but, their are discount code active now? Would i be taking advantage if i'm a local walk in customer who happens to be on GJ for those sweet GJ prices or must i be out of state?

do GJ and discount codes stack? does that hurt HJE? almost sounds like ordering and then going in to pick up is cheapest....untill you see more stuff on the shelf and buy even more before you leave? plus i could wait till the end of the month to pick it up and get free pan cakes?

I can't do a regular ED order, but I didn't want to completely skip the celebration. My "Epstein's Day in spirt" order. Filling in some weak spots in my wrenches, replacing a broken pickaroon and some worn out brushes. I like the magnetic bit holder better than the X way combination drivers.

Any likelyhood for Norseman deals this year?
Nothing from Norseman this year BUT we did get the items for the WERA raffle confirmed. There are three prizes so your chances of winning have ticked up this year.

I don't need any Wera, but I will buy something just to be in the contest. My daughters loved the watermelon rolling videos last year. And the fact that my name was in the mix on a Youtube video almost made me a celebrity in their minds.

The water melon rolling/dropping videos, and the fireworks were great. Maybe water melon polo with a sledgehammer/axe this year?

For anyone looking for Wilde deals, I would suggest that you check out the gasket scrapers. I think that they used to make the Craftsman ones, but Craftsman never made the pull scraper. These are great when you need more than a putty knife but less than a chisel for a job:

So as someone that is very fortunate to talked to Steve I first wish to offer my deepest condolences. He truly was a wonderful gentleman that was very knowledgeable and I am blessed to have had the ability to participate in Epstein Day for several years now.

Speaking as an individual for me Epstein Day isn't and will never be about discounts, deals or anything other than supporting a small family owned, run, operated business and also supporting domestic manufacturing as well. Reputable small family owned businesses that take pride in their craft is truly a rarity these days and as much as possible I will ALWAYS advocate supporting American made manufacturing.

Thank you so much Jori I look forward Epstein Day.

You could buy a set of magnetic sockets, or a fancy set of Japanese sockets with intricate circlips/detent balls built in to hold a fastener, or, you could spend $14.30 and stick one of these into your regular socket the day you really need it.

1750400493669.png

And being magnetic, they store easily under a toolbox lid.

I didn't think I needed a pull scraper! And here I thought it would be tough to break $100 after participating since the first Epsteins day.

Here's some of the more interesting stuff of what's in my cart (and don't forget about the machete package deal):

I bought one of these knives in my last Epstein order, for the kitchen side of Ms. Squankum's business. (I put the box in my pic for the "Show your new tools" thread and nobody noticed I didn't mention what was in that box.) I was hoping she'd sell it in the front half of her store, but she showed no interest. Her employees do like it, I hear.

Same Japanese company that makes the nicely made little springy scissors. Nice workmanship, fair price. I call it "the melon machete." Stainless steel.

My Epstein's Day in spirit order arrived. I ordered early because I could not count on being around to receive the package. A very fast turn around on some needs, and also some wants. My first Wright wrenches. Definitely worth the coin. Ohio Andy was correct. I love everything about them!

Some of us LOVE watermelon in my house and this looks to have a few advantages over my 10" chef knife that works well.

Grrrrr, something else to buy

Has anyone gotten the hat yet?

Nope, but I went and searched for "hat" and started seeing hatchets. To include this German hatchet I've not seen there before, a mere $93.95. And the only item by this brand that they have. Video shows the nail puller, and I'm sure you could (carefully) beat some nails with it, too.

These tweezers are great... I got a few the last time I ordered. Well worth the price to add a few to an existing order.

Good deal on these pliers:

If anyone has invented a time machine, please let me know so I can go back to last year and get in on the Eagle Grip deal... still can't believe I missed that :(

Wera Raffle prizes showed up. Also expecting some US made aluminum folding carts to arrive AND that Felo deal shipped out, the bulk of which should be online right before the big day. New summer hats and T-shirts are in production and should be here next week. I went with yellow so I apologize to everyone that doesn’t like yellow shirts but it worked best with the new design. Will post images as soon as they’re done.:willy_nil

The company's website puts them in Spokane, Washington - "The Inland Empire".

(Luigi's restaurant in the downtown core was great last time I was there.)

Definitely an interesting contraption.
