or include a metal template?............personally an additional 5- 10 dollar charge would be ok with me,,,,,,,,,,and considering the fact that this lift could be used in multiple locations, probably a good idea anyways and a worthwhile invesment.............and what are deadnuts?

Another question. What is involved with removing the lift from the delivery truck? Would I be able to unpack it while it's still on the delivery truck, then maybe slide the individual pieces onto the bed of my pick up truck? Then I can worry later about finding help to unload it. Is there a way to you an engine hoist to help inthe unloading process?
Also, how much is that motor cycle adapter and what other accessories are available?
I had a mini skid steer shipped (1500lb) and paid for liftgate service. Driver got here, and the pallet jack he had was too short to lift the palletized skid steer! He worked his **** off though, and with my help and my floor jack we were able to get it off the truck.

Anyway to use an engine hoist to remove it from the truck? Can you post a photo of what the "package" will actually look like?

From experience with truck deliveries, if you have any questions that you'll be able to unload it then have it delivered to the nearest terminal.
Generally, you are talking a tractor trailer delivery. This alone can be an issue in some residential areas. If he cannot turn around on your street (dead end or such) he may not even turn down your street.
The six foot bed height is a bit high. But you're talking a minimum of four feet or higher. A shop crane isn't going to do anything for you there.
The other issue is where the load is in the trailer. I've had things delivered that were halfway up in the trailer - not at the back. Even being able to reach into the trailer with a tractor or forklift from the ground you may not be able to reach the pallet. I've had luck dragging things to the back with a chain and then lifting it down from there, but that can be tricky based on weight and configuration.
So will these be delivered on a pallet? I'm debating whether or not I need to have my lift shipped to a terminal. Chances are I wont have anybody available to help unload it. I do have a small tractor, but I would not want to have to lift 900+ lbs with my bucket (it's only rated for 750lb). If I could easily break down the load into 3 pieces I could probably handle that. Do the drivers normally have lift gates on their trucks?
I could not have said it better myself. ThanksWhen I spoke with gabe he asked me if I had a way to get it off the truck.
I told him I was going to use my engine hoist, he said that would not work.
The truck that is going to deliver this setup has a bed at shoulder height - almost 6' for me, too high for an engine hoist. [edit] I'm 6'4" so when Gabe said shoulder height that's how I interpeted it. PAToyta's estimate is more accurate at 4' min. and higher.[/edit]
The entire package is 880 lbs. Freight company's drivers will not help you unload but may(not will but may) wait for you to unpack and unload it part by part. Each column weighs around 300 lbs each so get some strong friends if this is the route you go.
I'm having it dropped at the closest terminal which Gabe located for me and is 15 to 20 minutes from home. They will drop it in my f-100 then I can unload it later after bribing friends with pizza and beer...
my question is: which brand of oil is everyone using? The website says we can use any Dexron-III ATF in it. Install FAQ
I doubt any have shipped, I think Gabe (UPSHIFT on here) said 3/16 in a previous post.
