Quite reasonable.

If you just buy a couple of small bits I seem to recall that they just charge you for whatever the placket costs to send.

If you buy more, and the order is heavier, then the cost goes up, but only to a maximum of about €13 I think.

It’s then that rate for whatever you get, except for some really heavy items like jacks, which are shown separately.

Bear in mind that the price on their website includes tax, which a lot of others don’t, so I find they are very competitive.

Tax for Germany, so you save 1%, and it’s then VAT paid when it enters the U.K! That’s the way it had to work when we were in the E.U. and still is at present.

Acquired a set of Hazet ring spanners / box end wrenches used.

I ended up getting these for £33 - I guess that’s about $40. They probably would have been more, but they are SAE sizes so don’t command big money used where I am.

I almost passed on these for that reason, but the Hazet of this era seems to be particularly tough, so I thought they’d be a welcome addition. And a lot of Hazet for the money...

Some of the chrome is a little thin, but it’s worn rather than chipped, which I don’t find affects use that much. The insides of the jaws show no wear!

First very small flea market in months...

I guess that I shall up some pics of H-gems soon, but let just type here that I have bought small adjustable wrench, with 12-point box end wrench instead of hole-hanger, looks like same manufacturer that did Dowidat and Belzer adjustables, stamped Made in Germany... Also, there is some tin nibbler, Hazet 1963, no COO. Got for a friend some yellow screwdriver, also diagonal cutter, just the same as of Wout, from upper post.

There’s a quite old Hazet set on U.K. eBay right now.

The box is obviously home made, but these are obviously very vintage tools. They even appear to be hex drive!

Despite the age though, the sockets are obviously Hazet styled!

I just did a few tests of engraving initials on Hazet sockets and a torque wrench. Would anyone appreciate that? Works with any letter, logos, bar codes etc.

I'm not aware of a beer mug. I have the coffee mug and saw water glasses with Hazet logo's at the HQ but didn't saw (or remember) beer mugs. Beer openers exist in a few different types.

OK that's good to know. The Germans have an affinity for putting holes in their screwdriver handles and ratchet handles.
