Hi, I'm Peter from Belgium. I'm in to offroading for about 20 years now.
About 4 years ago, I started with this...

Currently, we are here...

Car is finished, along with a roof to work under and a little shed to cover my tools. It's not much, but wit the strict building regulations in Belgium, its the maximum I can build. Even this is not entirely legal... :dunno:

The little shed:

Specs of the car: Suzuki samurai LWB frame (reinforced) and front of body. Axles : Nissan Patrol Y60 with diff lock, engine and drive train: Mitsubishi 3 liter V6 (200 HP) , Fox shocks,....
So this 4x4 is for racing only and not road legal in Belgium, is has to be loaded on a trailer to go to the races. So the 2nd project was born...
A Iveco van fitted as a camper/RV to pull the trailer.

Next project is to reorganize the tool shed. That is how I landed here, to get some ideas on tool storage on very limited space....

Nice looking 4x4,, welcome to GJ. I lived in Brussels for a year on a project back in 1998, I miss the cobblestone streets, the beer & the chocolate.

We have indeed a lot of breweries, but I like more the stronger stuff from Scotland... :drink: And I live in the Flemisch speaking part of the country. (near Antwerp) :bounce:

Peter: i liked the old Leinen vice you posted on the big vise thread and the story makes it even better. I really like your before and after pics of your off road beauty. WELL DONE SIR!!

there are plenty of ideas for storage and i understand your limitations because currently i've only got a 10x15 foot part of 2 car garage that i can call mine because my wife parks her car and has her stuff in the other half. so with all the Organizing methods the members have posted i decided to start an ORGANIZING 201 thread and since it just started not much on it yet, but here's a link and you'll see it grow (I hope) with more ideas besides just mine. i love the look of your carport and little shed under it and the Leinen looks great waiting to be used and not abused.

cheers and WELCOME TO THE FORUM

It was a little heavy to carry around, so I build a little car for it...

...with some space for my other tools:

My dad was born and raised in Terneuzen. Flemisch is a weird dialect of Dutch. Just kidding. Have some relatives in Ghent. Haven't been there in years. Too long a plane ride.
Nice work, nice workspace for a small area!!
