Hi everyone,

my name is David and I live in beautiful Luxembourg.

At the moment I don't have a proper garage yet, but I'm planning to build a house (with a garage) in the next couple of months, so I'll be needing your assistance. :)

I'm doing all my work at my mother-in-law's garage with a borrowed lift.
It's a very tight fit and there's way too many cars in there, but it'll have to do for now.

As most of you seem to be from the States, I quite envy you for all the space you got, over here land is scarce and therefore very expensive, so we have to cope with a slightly smaller scale. :)

Anyway I'll start a thread for the "new" garage soon and am looking forward for your input and opinions.

Regards

David

Welcome David. While you may envy our space, it would seem you got a better mother in law than most of us:beer:

I certainly can't complain there! :)

The car whose roof you can barely see in the foreground of the photo is actually my late father-in-law's Fiat Spider which she drives on a not-so-regular basis. :)

Welcome David!
My ancestors came to the US from Luxembourg in the mid 1800s.

How cool is that? There was indeed a lot off emigration from Luxembourg to the States during that time.
There's even a Luxembourgish community in Wisconsin in a town/city called Belgium (yes that's our neighbours here in Europe, there was a mixup and the Belgian immigrants got the name Luxembourg for their town, not kidding. :) )

From what I've learned, they all settled in north central Ohio. I wasn't aware of the emigration to Wisconsin. I thought that was mostly the Nordic countries.
