Embarrassingly, I only just reaslised that this forum existed!
I joined around 3 years ago, after following a link from a car forum, although I can't remember which one. I think it was a link to 'The BMW House' which is still one of the most inspiring build threads on here, although I love Roger55's 'Gas Station' style build.
I am a self confessed car addict, and have been for as long as I can remember. When I grew up my Dad owned a garage, and I was given a '71 VW Bug when I was 13, "to keep me out of trouble". This lead to an obsession with everything VW, which is only just starting to ease as I now love other German cars, and most pre-80 US cars (and some of the later ones).
I've owned more cars than I can remember, but my biggest achievement has been turning this:
Into this (doing most of the work myself):
This is my current rented space, which I share with a mate.
I also have a small (and messy) attached garage at my current house.
I'm in the process of building a 18ft x 26ft garage at our soon to be new home, and more details can be found here:

Thank you for all the inspiration and advice I've had so far.
