My Google searches keep pointing me back to this place so apparently I have something in common with a lot of you folks.
A little about myself;
I've got an older 30 x 30 shop that I tinker in. I'm a mechanic by trade and grew up in a wood shop so I do a little both.
Probably my favorite type of woodworking is segmented turning. If you're not familiar with segmented turning, it's basically gluing a bunch of pieces of wood together and turning it on a lathe. Here is (i think) one of the nicer pieces I did a few years back to give you an idea.

My current (ongoing) project is an 85 Corvette (The Dam Vette)
. As a mechanic I have always had a love/hate relationship with Corvettes. This one kind of fell into our laps and has become part of the family. Currently it's on jack stands with the rack and pinion apart on the bench waiting for a seal kit to show up.

I'm looking to get a lift in the future and probably expand the shop a little bit. (I'll hassle you guys later with some questions I have on those two subjects.)
Anyways, figured I would say hello since I've been using so much of your information.
