Almost looks like pump was added
Will do shortly ....Looks like a second one to me, ruling out the homemade modification theory. Can you take the spout off and take a photo, with flash on, of the inside? I'm curious what is on the end of the plunger.
Here are the pictures you asked for -- Hope that helps -- and let me know if you still need something different for a picture. Also that picture I submitted above of SOMETHING SIMILAR came from this site (pic) below, but I did not enter that site as it said it was "Suspicious" so I could not get there to see WHAT INFO IT SAID ON THAT ONE like mineLooks like a second one to me, ruling out the homemade modification theory. I think I understand what your mean...I contact a place over the pond here ( I am in Canada here), to see if they had any ideas. Now that I found that pic of another one kinda similar to it -- trying to find out whatever I can. Thank youNice pics Rose. What we were hoping to see was a tube connected in the center of your spout where the hole is that would extend down into the oil reservoir. With a tube down in the oil the pump would at least have a chance of picking it up and pulling it up to and through the pump. Didn't find a loose tube rattling around in the can did you? Without a pick-up tube the oiler operation is likely the plunger just working a valve allowing oil to flow when tipped.
