It's funny you should say that.What's funny is that Lisle generally doesn't brand anything they make. This is one of those few tools they do/did.
And yes, I had a similar set at one time. The inside of the socket anvil opening was completely unfinished on every single one of them.

Yep, exactly. Every single one of them looked exactly like that.
I had another set of their sockets too, I think they were hex, and they also looked the same way.
My guess is they're cutting manufacturing costs by not finishing the inside/underside of the socket.
Just because it's made in the USA doesn't always mean its necessarily quality manufacturing.
