Help disassembling air sander

I have a bearing starting to go, I have tore into this and have removed all parts up to & including #30 )
I have the assembly #20 to #29 removed from the main body . I suspect bearing # 29 is bad. collar # 28 is threaded on to the shaft of the rotor #23 .
the only way I see to separate the rotor is to pull on housing # 21 . It is very close to the body #25 and quite fragile looking . I'm thinking a small puller and gently see if it will pull off the shaft of the rotor?

Make a point on the end of a rod that is less than the diameter of the shaft through that bearing. Place the point of the rod into the center point that is likely in the shaft. Using gloves, hold rotor assembly and rod vertically as one and start lightly bumping them onto a hard surface. The slide hammer effect may get it for you. I worked on a few air tools at work and used that method.

Bummer, as there are adapters for bearing pullers that will go between the balls and lock and allow them to be pulled, if they are open or have removable seals.

ended up easy to get off. slight pull and it moved easily. I was mistaken on the bad bearing, it is bearing #20 that is bad, a 696Z . Now I have to get that out of the end cap # 21.
I think a bit of heat to expand it will work.

Just a straight punch held on an angle to catch the inner race of the bearing should work fine. However, I have had situations where the bearing is destroyed that bad that the inner race and all the balls fall out and the outer race stays stuck in the rear plate. In those cases, I usually just replace both bearing and plate.

I tried that, no dice.. heated up the plate and tried, no dice... ended up tack welding a 6mm bolt to the inner race & tapped it out

got the bearing today. re assembled it all and it's good to go.
I made a blunder and forgot to put the rotor vanes in place , noticed it just after I pressed the bearing on so II had to pull it apart again. held the vanes in place with a dab of Vaseline.
at least I wasn't left with any spare parts and the sander works great. .
