Help finding a swivel plate

I was given this Rock island vise but the swivel plate is missing. I would like to try and find a swivel plate. I realize I could just bolt it to a table and make it static but I would like to try and fix it. Does anyone by a long shot have any idea where to find one?

Check the vise parts thread... I would think a plate from a similar sized vise would work as several companies made that style.

i'm thinking a round piece of steel with a fairly rough side or sandpaper stuck to it might give you the "old style" swivel that your vise was designed to have with the single bolt out of the middle of the bottom.
