I saw this on an auction site and didn't know if it was worth buying.

The bit sticking out of the back is worrying.
I presume the pin or screw that holds the “vise nut” or whatever the piece is called, has either been broken or removed.
The color makes me think it’s an import, as does the 6” cast into the side of the vise.
My guess is it’s an import clone of the square steel slide Wilton Mechanics vise.
If it’s only a screw that needs to be replaced to fix the vise nut in place, repair cost would be negligible, unless you have to remove a broken screw, and have the tools to do so.
I can see one of the pope gripping jaws in the photo, but not the other one, and don’t know if the issue is the angle, or a missing jaw.
If a pipe jaw is missing, you probably won’t easily find a replacement, and it would likely not be worth it if you do. ( unless you have absolutely no need for the pipe jaws).
Price wise, I would guess a value of maybe $20 as a repair project, if you want to spend the effort.
The 6” Harbor Freight Doyle vise made from Ductile cast iron, and with a round slide like the Wilton bullet vises is only $200 new in box, and sometimes less expensive.

Apparently Wilton used to cast “6 Jaw Width” into the one side of their vises.
I still don’t know if it’s a Wilton or not.
Wilton did make this style of vise for other brands.
This is a picture of a CAT branded version.
Maybe they made the vise for someone who wanted Federal Safety Blue?
I would still be wary of the vise due to condition issues.
There is rust, saw marks, possible torch damage, as well as the repair work necessary, plus a bent handle, and maybe a missing jaw.

I guess this is a Wilton vise based on your picture. I should have uploaded this picture at first.

-Anytime I see a bent handle on a vise it tells me that excessive force has already happened. Without inspecting it in person for further damage I'd pass on it. If you want a project it's only worth scrap value, it's currently priced on the speculative price of the name brand.
