Hey Guys,
So I just bought a house this past August with a pretty nice (for me) 2 car detached garage where I can work on my cars and motorcycles. The previous owner of the home had worked for several NASCAR teams over the past ~20 years as a machinist. He left me an old Snap On tool box, which I'd like to restore and move to my hobby room in the house.
I've tried searching for information on this tool box, but haven't had much luck. I'm not even certain that it is a Snap On tool box since the most similar model that I've found on the internet is the Mac Tools "MB 12", which appears to be almost identical. The Snap On logo on the front of the box sort of seems too modern for a box of this age, but I'm probably wrong about that.

On the large tray under the lid, there is a stamp which says "MODEL 09 82". Searching this term hasn't given me any results.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!.
