The CEO of the company I work for was a higher up engineer at Snap-On for like 28 years or something like that. Anyway one day he was helping me work on some electrical stuff and commented how he wish we had good tools there. To be more specific he wanted his trusty ratcheting screwdriver. I started to give him a hard time about it since I have NEVER seen a ratcheting screwdriver worth a damn. He simply replied, "Have you ever used a Snap-On one?" and of course the answer was no. The next day he came in and gave me one and said "If you USE this and don't like it give it back, if you like it keep it". And that is the story of my first Snap-On tool

To be fair though I still haven't gotten a chance to use it, but the quality of it was immediately apparent. I grabbed a POS ratcheting screwdriver that was laying around and gave it a twist in the hand, in the normal range of motion for turning a screw it would click once, MAYBE twice tops. The Snap-On ratcheted like it should nice and smooth I was defiantly impressed.
