I already can't find anything I dropI despise flake. Makes it almost impossible to find anything small that gets dropped.

I considered polishing concrete too, I love how easy epoxy cleans up though. Dope picture!Light colors, in satin or semi-gloss tend to work the best for spaces where there's lots of work going on. They help reflect light without being too mirror-like, are easy to clean spills from and don't hide things that fall. The downside is that anything that spills and stains will standout if not cleaned up completely before they can attack the coating. Lots of solvents, and petrochemical based things, both liquids and solids, will attack almost any of the normal coatings when left in contact for longer periods of time.
Our hangar floors are semi-polished concrete with some type of sealant, with a light gray mushroom epoxy where the suction danger zone is located. If you look closely, you can see tire tracks on the gray from repeated contact. That tracking comes from hundreds of movements aross the same path, over several years.

Thanks on the FJ, I’m 100% working in there. I feel like my whole shop’s look right now is sort of blandYou have my FJ in your garage. Good taste in cars, not so fond of the floor if you are doing work in there. Part of my decision making process is picking a floor color also. While gray is perfect, it seems boring to me. I may go light blue, no flakes.
One of those hangars have been my work office for more than 20 years now.I considered polishing concrete too, I love how easy epoxy cleans up though. Dope picture!
I like that idea. OSB to me is not a good look for walls.Paint those walls first, then decide on a floor color...![]()
