Not quite as simple as looking for a brand, because hardly any brands outsource all their torque wrenches to Eclatorq, and not too many companies even offer a 1/4.” Take a look at
this web page - these are the models that most brands contract with Eclatorq for. Find one you like, and see if you can match it to one on that page.
If you’re open to other brands, I’d take a look at the new Gearwrench 1/4” digital - it’s a pretty nice unit at a very reasonable price.
Thanks javyLSU probably seriously need to consider the Gearwrench with its additional features for the money. Flex head, high engagement head, and angle are nice to have and can buy it for $175 whenever I get a 20% Zoro coupon the next time around. Looks like the pandemic supply constraints are starting to impact availability. Zoro is a 20 day wait and many places are out of stock. Glad I am not desperate for this.
Trying to cross reference Photos with the Eclatorq website it looks like this Westward is a WE2-030AN -

This roundhead flexhead looks close to the WEF series with a different head (maybe a custom spec) -

This Carlyle torque wrench is probably a WEF2-030BN or WEF2-030AN -

Looks like AC Delco and Summit use a different manufacturer for their 1/4's. I did find a Summit equivalent of the WEF4-135BN. The Eclatorq website seems to intentionally make sleuthing this hard as I can't access some of the torque wrench specs or they just aren't available.
I bought wp2-030bn from amazon japan a few years ago for a good price.
Dennis Schmidt may have one in stock, username dnschmidt here. He once was a dealer but not sure if he still is.
Good find on the wp2-030bn. Th is 3/8 cousin is only $106 at current exchange rates. At this price I might need a 3/8 too -

I think this might be related, but $400 is going to motivate me to hold onto my $ -

I use to sell Eclatorq and still would if I could compete against Harbor Freight and Lowes which sell them now re-branded. The problem you're going to have is that the model you want is a specialty item and not something commonly available. Most people want 3/8" drive 20-100 ft-lb and 1/2" drive 50 to 250 ft-lb. I personally have the wrench you're looking for but I'm not selling it but keeping it for myself. I gave one of these to a FORMER friend for setting up differentials. As you can put them into track mode and measure dynamic pre-load. Naturally that ***** kept it and hopefully I'll never see the ******* again in my lifetime. I considered it to be a small price to pay to get rid of him.
I can be your friend if you want me to be
Thanks for the response. Have come to the realization that in broadening my tool collection outside of the common stuff means that I am looking for some of the more esoteric stuff. Am surprised all of the bike fanatics here on GJ are satisfied with their 1/4 clickers and most of the beam style torque wrenches seem to have a narrow enough range in 1/4 to basically require two torque wrenches.
