I just hung an old Modine header from my ceiling. I can plumb the gas, no problem. But I've never wired one before, I could use some advice to make sure I get it right. I'll explain what I have, then maybe someone can guide me as to what gets connected to what.
So on the back of the unit, there is a small junction box where the connections are made. I have 2 black wires coming directly from the fan. I have a black and a white wire coming from the regulator. Then, I have 3 black wires that go from the junction box and directly into the back of the heater somewhere.
So what I need to know is, where does my 110 house voltage get hooked up? And where will the thermostat hook up? Also, I'd like it wired so I can run just the fan manually without heat, so what special provisions will I need to make that happen?
FYI, Modine doesn't have a manual for this machine on their site. I contacted Modine directly, and they also didn't have a manual available.
