Could use a smaller unit(8'6") for doors & windows-lighter weight is btter for my back! Anyone suggest a price range and pitfalls for getting a used one?? I don't need brick moulds or fancy bends-just 45 & 90 degree stuff. Any comments & suggestions appreciated.........Cranky:dunno::thumbup:

I sell the tapco line here in Edmonton Canada.
If you go used see if you can clamp a piece of aluminum trim and push on it every foot or so. The older brakes had no adjustment in the pivots and once you cant clamp properly the frustration begins. When you try to do a hem is when the material wants to slip into the brake. C,heck out the videos on tapcotools.com. Also look for damage to the hinge from guys using a knife to score the material and gouging into the hinge. Ask them how they do a hem or safety fold. If they show you or tell you they crush it they are putting unnecessary stress on the brake. Once you see the videos you'll see how its done.

Good luck and msg me if you need any help

Also check the pawn shops

Cheers
