Need to fabricate a small steel block that a 6mm air line can pass through and be held. The airline needs to be able to feed through but not return. Similar in principle to a fencing Gripple. Minimal moving parts, and not crush the airline.

What’s your thoughts? I’ve been trying to search the internet but I can’t even begin to think what this would be called.

Gripples are tension devices. Are you trying to pull the line tight? If so something like a hoisting sock might work, although for 6mm air line you might have to make one, smallest ones I have used barely pull up on cable that’s 10mm diameter. What’s the job? More information brings more specific help.

I'd guess a split block, sized for a very-slight interference fit for the hose, and maybe a single threaded bolt to hold the halves together. One through-hole for fastening the block to the bulkhead/wall.

There might be some merit in having a rubber collar providing a bit of tension on the line in the block, to allow a minimal movement with the airflow/use.

I think he's looking for something that he can pull an airline one way, but not let it fall back.

Maybe something like a cam type broom handle holder?

Drill out the back of a push-lock fitting? Tap the hole in the plate and thread it in.

That's what I would do.
