Hello, I recently purchased a commercial garage. It has terrible lighting so i am looking to put some led high bay lighting. I am need of some help with the layout, which lights to buy and how many would be sufficient. I have never did any sort project like this so any help would be appericated. Ceiling height is around 14.5ft and the shop is a L shape. Dimensions are 115ft long 40ft wide and at the L its 40x80. Thanks!

Welcome to the site. The first thing to do is check out the sticky threads at the top of the electrical section, the ones on The Best Light Fixture Ever and Light Fixture Layout Collection. There's a lot of useful information there, and you may find some layouts that can be adapted to your situation.

Another thing you can try is many of the light manufacturers have a feature on their website where you can plug in your dimensions along with how much light you want and a specific light fixture, and it generate a suggested light layout to meet your needs. For an L shaped space like yours it may be easier to break it up into two spaces.
