I laughed outloud when I found this. I bought an old military guys tools. He had traveled around the world so many of the tools are British and German. This one is British, Has anyone heard of KING **** before?

It's a pretty common thing to find on ebay uk.I'm not sure if they are still in business or not.I've bid on a few King **** ratchets but haven't won yet.

King **** tools was named after a English Bulldog that belonged to the founder of the company, the dog was named King **** after King Richard of England. They made alot of tools, many Whitworth and still do. I'm sure they also make metric and fractional/AF/SAE whatever you want to call it.

I have a 2-7/8 open end King **** . It's 25-1/2 in. long. I haven't figured out picture posting yet .....someday ..........

Back in the "olden days" cars used to come with a tool kit from the factory. Old MG car toolkits commonly contain King **** tools. I imagine other British cars did as well. This may be one way such tools have made it to the United States. Also, keep in mind that some of these tools are sought after by people trying to put together complete kits for their old cars. I have seen complete original Jaguar tool kits from the sixties sell for four digits!
