HF Braun Slim LED Work-light run test.
OEM battery
Last week didn't seem to run very long. This is the 2nd charge though,
and unit had been sitting probably a few months. Maybe just needed a good slow charge, charged on
the computer. Total run time on OEM battery = 8:30 PM to 11:00 2 1/2 hours Not bad at all I don't think.
Charging OEM battery with internal charger on computer USB overnight.
Will post run time of new battery tomorrow.

I ran original batteries for about 6 months daily when first had 3 of these lights.
At best I got about 3 hours, with better battery you can get from 4hrs and over 5 if get best capacity cells on market .
Once over the 4 hr mark they great for professional use or busy DIY use as you likely only swap out cell once in full day of work .
In real use scenario where may use lower light setting or tip led it better again, also to me run times seem little better in real world scenarios where light has some off time and cools down .
3500mAh seems sweet spot price/capacity to real world benefit and with these lights being so easy swap a cell no big deal doing so within reason .
Is a lot of these braun style lights on the world market, masterforce, craftsman, bluespot, premier and various no brands,
I found bluespot online and that one folds flat, also was cheaper (HF current 29.99 price is bit too much for minimal battery and warranty supplied)

At best I got about 3 hours,
on the original battery, that is about what I got. With the high capacity, I'm not sure. I know I've gone past 3 hours, but somewhere after that, I notice the light will dim slightly like is on the "dim" (2nd click) and run there for a long time. Recharging brings it back to full bright. I haven't run the high capacity battery totally out yet.

I wouldn't think they would pull that much current. I am wondering about the battery on board safety. Maybe I don't need the safety circuit battery. I might try the other type and compare.

led strip can overheat, thermal pastes can be useful between the light strip and heat sinks .

The trick is to get a couple on sale and just rotate them through and recharge as you use the next one.

Total runtime 4 hours.
Started at 10:30 AM till 2:30 Pm, so far 4 hours was still burning, but noticed red light on. So I shut it

off. Probably best to shut it when red light comes on?
