I received an email coupon for the 95272 cart, and when you click the item link, the page shows up as sale (without coupon). For those of you who can get your stores to price match, then use the 20%, this should be around $128 before tax.

It's listed in the Christmas in July flyer for $159 but it's a super coupon. If you click on the coupon, it brings up the link you posted. I just called my local HF and they said they can honor the $159 but not the 20% coupon.

Most of the time, it's all about the approach. If you take in a printed screen shot of the Online sale price $159, they'll price match and usually take a 20% coupon. If you give them a super saver coupon for $159; they won't take another coupon. Same as using a store flyer.

The main thing to remember is Harbor Freight Online and Harbor Freight USA are two different businesses. If one has a sale the other will usually price match and accept a discount coupon.

I was looking at that cart the other day when I was in the store. It's quite big and looks very well made, the only thing I personally didn't like was the latch mechanism on the drawers. Still, it's a great deal for the money.

I like that cart. I saw a similar one I like even better in the NAPA store the other day with a $249 price tag on it.

Don't use the Super Coupon...it's $159.99 online without it. Bring in a screenshot of the internet price and a 20% off coupon.

That's what I'm going to try tomorrow. I'll report back whether it works or not

Just returned home with my red cart. Out the door for $137. Had a bit of a time coaxing them to honor the 20% off coupon. Talked on the phone to 3 different people before someone agreed to honor the coupon. I explained to them that I had to drive an hour to get there and I wanted assurance that I could indeed use the 20% coupon. Told him I had a screenprint of the cart for $159 without a coupon and he said as long as I brought the printout with me, they would honor the coupon. Luckily I remembered his name because when I got there they insisted that I couldn't use the coupon. I explained to them that I spoke on the phone with someone before I drove down. After going through 2 checkout persons, they finally called the manager up front. At first he declined, but after hearing my sob story he marked it down. This is a GREAT cart.

I just picked one up. It came up regular price, and I showed the online price print out to the clerk and she said they could match no problem, then I pulled out a 20% coupon and she said "maybe, I just have to ask the manager". Right then a clerk at the next register yelled out "no, you can't combine offers".. Right about then the manager showed up I asked him and he said "sure man, I can do that for you no problem" the chick at the other register gave a pissed off look and turned around real quick.

I do have to say this thing is much bigger and WAY heavier than I anticipated. It does seem to be a great cart for only $127.99..

I believe this deal ends Sunday 7/18/10. So if your still on the fence about it print a page out now before the online price goes back up. As they may still match it at your store later since they didn't check/verify the online price nor keep my printout, they just overrode the price.

It's a lot bigger than I was expecting too. Here is mine next to my other HF box. The only thing I don't like is the drawer pulls don't match the big box. Other than that, I can't complain at all. The only thing left to do is get a Craftsman logo to match the big boxes. :bounce:

Where do you get the Cman badges you put on the larger HF box? I'm actually in the process of painting the drawers on my cart black. After I got one done it looks decent. Makes it a little bit different.

I'm sure this has been asked before, but how does this roll when loaded down? They sure looked nice, well worth the price when I looked in the store. Maybe I'll pick one up for driveway work on the wife's car.

Post some pics if ya can, you just using rattle can paint or something different? It would be cool to see it another color.

Mine is pretty weighted down and still rolls just great. This is a VERY well built cart and I would like to get another one so that I can make one MM and one SAE but not sure if I have the room.

I will try to post pics either tonight or tomorrow. I only have one drawer done right now, I wanted to make sure that it looked decent and my technique was ok. It is just a rattle can job but looks ok.

I bought some Rustoleum self etching primer and Rustoleum Professional Semi Gloss black paint. I scuffed it up with a green scothbrite pad then cleaned and sprayed the primer with a couple coats. Then waited a couple days (only because I was busy) and sprayed the 3 light coats of black and let it sit for a day before putting back in and putting the trim on it.

I saw that NAPA cart at the napa distribution center in the big city today. It was quite tall and I believe it had 4 drawers. Looked well made to me.

Thanks, that's what I was looking to hear.

Assuming my memory is what it used to be, this thing has the spring loaded latches. I didn't really care for those. They seemed like they were the weak point on the cart. Any comments on those, or an easy way to disable them maybe?

Here is a quick picture of the cart with the one drawer front painted. I plan on priming the other drawers today and hopefully finishing up the process by Tuesday. I can post pics when I am done also.

So you can visualize the rest:

I did pretty much the same thing as you, Mojo, and it's held up really well. I re-painted the red (in a less-pink-more-Craftsman shade) as well.

I knew I had seen this idea before, I guess I kind of stole your idea, I hope mine comes out looking even half as good as yours.

I just like the idea of having something a little different than everyone else. I may tear it all down and paint the whole thing a color completely different than red but it kind of depends on how this comes out.

If you do a whole repaint, you can use some bedliner on the shelf and back of the unit, where it's going to take some abuse. I used some herculiner on my toolbox.

x2. I actually used aerosol bedliner on my old Stack On box. It's pretty durable, and hides things well.

Well I got all of the drawers painted and put back on and thought I would post pics for anyone that is intereste. Here it is, I think that it looks ok for a first go round.

You can see my make shift paint booth in the background. Got a plastic paint tarp and hung it with hooks from the garage door opener beams. Worked out pretty well and kept all the overspray off of all the other stuff in the garage.

I bought one last month on a coupon. Wound up paying $149.00 but I'm OK with that. It's pretty heavy duty and the drawers slide nice :bounce:

Looks great! Harbor Freight should offer it in that color scheme, in my opinion.

Jack, Have you added black drawer labels since this picture was taken so the HF box will completely match your Craftsman box?
I haven't -- because I'm still trying to figure out if I should move more tools to the HF box, and what way of doing it makes the most sense. On top of that, the HF box comes with white inserts with plastic protectors to slide into the chrome handles -- which seems like a pretty good idea, except that I can't replicate it with the Craftsman boxes.

So everything has just sat the way it is.

On the other hand, I got a lot done this weekend on my patio shade cover.

Re-bumping this back up. Their sidewalk sale has it for $199, so I'm going to see if I can price match it to the $159, and try using a 20% off coupon as well.

Is $159 pretty much the lowest price they have for this?

No, $149 at the sale a few weeks ago. Should be on sale again during the after-Thanksgiving sale for $149 also. $149 * .8 = $119.20.

The Thanksgiving flier was up on HF's website Friday, but has since been removed... likely because someone put it up too early and was told to take it down.

I figure the $10 wasn't a deal breaker for me and since I didn't want to wait a few months (might not be around during Thanksgiving--gotta visit family ya know) so I went ahead and picked it up now, while I still have room in my garage! :lol_hitti
