Normally, I would have sent a private message, but I thought this would be valuable for all us GJ'ers. I have a few-year-old big, heavy Hein-Warner jack that I'd like to store out of the way. However, its size and heft makes lifting it onto a shelf a virtual impossibility. So I was thinking about flipping it up onto it's wheels (handle up) and using the handle bar to maneuver it against the wall. On that wall, I would have a cradle of sorts that the jack body or wheels would latch into. Then I would rotate the handle up against the wall and lock it into another bracket. My question is: would storing the jack in this vertical position be detrimental to the jack in the long term?
